1 Destiny House Children s Ministry Our mission is to introduce children to Jesus Christ in a manner that transforms their lives and encourages them to develop a personal relationship with Him through prayer and a solid foundation of Biblical truth. As a ministering arm of the church, teams identify and implement needed services that will meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the community. A.M.E.N ext This army of mighty men are purposed to set up discipleship programs to include men s Bible study, prayer and various other spiritual growth initiatives; develop and implement workshops to assist men in becoming spiritually, economically, and financially empowered; increase the number of men working in other ministries within the church; build a strong bridge between The Potter s House youth and our men; leverage all of the resources and expertise within the Men s Ministry membership to manifest a multicultural army of New Testament believing men. 2 Bereavement ext It is the mission of The Potter s House Bereavement Ministry to provide support, comfort, love and compassion to our members and their families during the loss of a loved one. It is the purpose of the Bereavement Ministry to respond effectively and promptly to the needs of our members. Counseling The Potter s Counseling Center has professional Christian counselors who integrate timeless Biblical truths with sound clinical procedures. Spiritual Enrichment Counselors Lay Training Deacons ext The Deacon s Ministry provides service to the congregation, supports Bishop Jakes and associate pastors, supports the vision of the ministry, and participates in other ministries within the church and special events or functions at the church. Deaf Ministry ext The Potter s House Deaf Ministry is comprised of Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and Hearing persons seeking to provide a spiritual learning environment conducive to the growth and development of lives both spiritually and morally. This is accomplished in a culturally diverse milieu of qualified and competent deaf and hearing professionals within the ministry and The Potter s House congregation. God Answers Prayers (GAP) Consolidating our intercession into one group, seeking the will of God for our lives, and activating the ministry of Jesus Christ is conducted weekly. Global Outreach ext The Missions Department gives hope to the disadvantaged by providing the Gospel. Resources for educational advancement, training for discipleship, practical life skills, and opportunities for economic empowerment are offered by trained volunteers. Our purpose is to form an alliance with organizations, missionaries and churches in order to significantly impact our community and our world. Other ministries include: Building Fund Faith for Africa Golden Vessels The function of this ministry is to serve the seasoned servants of our ministry. We teach, preach to, and learn from our more experienced saints. Praise and worship services have been established for the residents in community centers/housing facilities in the Dallas vicinity. The lonely and broken-hearted are encouraged and the souls that think they have been neglected are ministered to in a very effective way.

3 Guardians Ministry ext The Guardians is a street ministry that ministers to the spiritual and physical needs of the homeless. The desire is to empower individuals with skills that will enable self-sufficiency and promote spiritual growth and development. To create an environment that encourages the V.I.P.s to express themselves in worship freely, establish trust, and build relationships is also part of our function. Hospital Ministry ext 1962 The Hospital Ministry is a ministry of compassion and love where qualified ministers serve the needs of our church community with pastoral care. It is our desire to stand in the gap with our members. International Ministry The vision is to celebrate God s sovereignty over all the earth by incorporating cultural programming that educates and initiates dialogue and discussion among God s people. African Ministry Let Esther Arise Indian Ministry Casa de Fe Hispanic Ministry International Language Marital / Premarital ext 1142 The Premarital Ministry is available to assist couples in preparation for their wedding day. Pastors and Elders are in place to provide premarital ministry, at no cost to members of The Potter s House. There are seven one-hour sessions per week, normally conducted on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings. The first step is to pick up a Premarital Application form from the receptionist at the church, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The application is then placed on the Waiting List and the applicants are contacted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Medical Ministry The Medical Ministry consists of Health Care Professionals and gifted lay individuals dedicated to promoting Health Awareness, Safety and Health Maintenance in our church and community. The Medical Ministry offers first aid and emergency assistance during regular worship services and special events. Our Mentoring Program is designed to help college bound young adults fulfill their dream in the field of medicine. M.E.D.C The Metroplex Economic Development Corporation (M.E.D.C.) is a nonprofit 501c(3) corporation established by T. D. Jakes to bridge the socio-economic gap that exists in historically underserved communities. The mission of the MEDC is to impact the lives of individuals and families through the implementation of programs established under the umbrella of its core initiatives including financial literacy, homeownership and entrepreneurship training and development.

4 Ministerial Affairs The Ministerial Affairs is charged with carrying out ministry of reconciliation, preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people of all nations, regardless of race, creed, color, gender, denomination, social or economic position, or any other factor whatsoever; managing our in-house affairs in the Spirit of Excellence as good and faithful stewards of the Lord, Jesus Christ; being vessels through whom the Father s love is clearly reflected, as lost and hurting people are embraced; and working diligently in building up the Body of Christ as a united and integrated church in which there are no distinctions or divisions, but in which Jesus Christ is all. Music & Fine Arts The Music & Fine Arts Ministry of The Potter s House is an august body of believers who have answered the clarion call to this ministry. These groups of psalmists, musicians, praise dancers and worship leaders have dedicated their lives to ushering God s people beyond the veil into the presence of His Majesty. Fresh Start Regional Family Fellowship P.H.A.S.E 2 (Singles) ext The P.H.A.S.E. 2 Singles Ministry is an exciting avenue for all singles looking to uncover their unique purpose in life while offering the opportunity for them to begin to experience it now. Our ministry goal is to provide singles with an opportunity to grow spiritually, emotionally, and physically through monthly meetings. The Potter s House School of Ministry PHSOM ext The purpose of The Potter s House School of Ministry is to develop 21 st century ministers who are full of sound doctrine; devoted to prayer and public worship; committed to the global vision of our Bishop; submitted to church leadership; reflect a life of personal discipline; have a

5 sensitivity in caring for family and church with Holy Boldness and Faithfulness, while making full proof of their ministry and defending the faith with the Lord s Great Commission as our ultimate objective! And he said unto them, Go ye into the entire world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15) The Potter s Institute The Potter s Institute is a vehicle used to provide Biblical instructions. Our mission is to develop the disciple s character in knowledge and understanding of Godly life principles through applied teaching for the betterment of community, family and personal life and that God s kingdom be established on earth. We develop relationships and network with local community partners who provide transitional services for former offenders. We also provide customer service support to former offenders and families of offenders. New Creation Prison and Jail Family Support Group Bridges to Life DRC African American Life Skills Professional Ministry Technicians #4 (Ushers / Greeters) The Professional Ministry Technicians meet, greet and seat the parishioners as they enter the sanctuary. The PMT are an extension of God s hands to His people. The ministry of ushering is a personal representation of Jesus Christ who meets people on a person-to-person basis when they first arrive at The Potter s House. 6 Sales Ministry The Sales ministry is responsible for the sales and service of ministry products such as CDs, videos, DVDs and VHS when Bishop Jakes is traveling for conferences or speaking engagements. This area also oversees the sales of products to wholesalers and distributors. Additional ministries to include: Potter s Wheel Bookstore Lobby Sales Road Sales Safety Ministry The Safety Department is comprised of staff and volunteers who are responsible for maintaining a watchful eye on any threatening, suspicious or harmful behaviors as it pertains to our first family, staff and parishioners. The Security Department works closely with the Dallas Police Department to secure the campus during all services and special events. Because of the professional backgrounds of our ministry leaders, the volunteers and staff are well trained to provide any assistance that is required to carry out this task with courtesy, respect and professionalism. Tape Audio / Video Duplication This department is an extended arm of the ministry by spreading the gospel through distribution of audio/video products to bookstores, distributors, conferences, and the International Ministry. Our on-site duplication department distributes products to our bookstore and other ministries within the church. Our goal is to maintain quality control, precision and to distribute our products in the Spirit of Excellence and in the same anointing from whence it was received. Television Ministry The purpose of this ministry is to bring worship services into homes across the nation and around the world through the vehicle of television. This innovative ministry delights in knowing that the Gospel is reaching and changing the lives of many who do not have the opportunity to physically be in our worship services, but can experience the same anointing and blessing of the Lord through visual means. Sound / Audio Ministry Production Transportation Ministry This ministry provides transportation for invited guests, staff and the various ministry departments. Transportation is provided for conferences and crusades also. We serve the people of God in the most courteous and professional manner. Shepherd s Staff Daytime Support Guest Relations Tours WoMan to Woman Ministry This ministry crosses economic status, education, religion, age, and racial lines to get to the heart of the matter. Although we are different individually, collectively we are one in the Spirit. WoMan to Woman, Sister to Sister, Heart to Heart, we have been invoked into the presence of a healing God. We are laboring together to bring fruition and wholeness in our lives and in the lives of those who encounter us. WTW has benefited the ministry by providing the women of The Potter s House a time of enrichment in our spiritual lives, as well as practical applications for daily living.
