10 Where We Were Our online learning delivery-system was outdated and did not allow for responsive adaptations to market and content demands. As recognized leaders in the field, our content was not always current or world class. Industry change (ICD-10) created tremendous opportunity and created increased competition. The work of our profession (our members) was rapidly changing, with evermoving goals and targets established by the Department of Health and Human Services. Our ability to rapidly develop and maintain products and services was diminished by legacy technology decisions In short, we needed to adapt. 10 American Health Information Management Association
