16 Office of Career Development 6 th Floor Howe Center, Castle Point on Hudson, Hoboken, NJ ocd@stevens.edu Thank you Career Development, from the Class of 2012 The Office of Career Development helped start my professional career right from freshman year. Their seasoned and dedicated staff aligned my professional and academic goals through a series of internships and Co-Op. Thus, with strong academic background and valuable professional experience, I became a qualified and highly marketable candidate for my field. The Office of Career Development was my gateway to success. Bismark Polley, Jr. Analyst Credit Suisse Private Banking Americas The Career Development staff at Stevens provided me with a level of service far beyond my imagination. Over the course of my career as a Stevens student, the Career Development staff assisted me in landing an internship with a Wall Street bank and eventually securing full-time employment at a Big Four accounting firm. I recommend that all Stevens students utilize the services that the Career Development Office has to offer. Eric Kane Advisory Associate KPMG LLP Throughout my 4 years at Stevens, I was constantly going to Career Development for advice on where to apply and how to interview. The staff helped me review my resume, cover letters, follow up s, and virtually anything I needed to send to potential companies. My senior year they helped me to build a list of companies that best offered what I was looking for. With their help I graduated with multiple offers in various companies that I could see myself working at. Everyone there was always happy to help and greeted me with a smile which made talking to them and asking questions very easy. Michelle Galvez Associate Project Manager Shadow Financial Systems, Inc. The Career Development staff was helpful in every aspects of my job hunt, from creating my resume to accepting my full time offer. Rob Coughlin Manufacturing Technology Engineer DuPont I had the opportunity to work with The Office of Career Development at Stevens for three years and I found it to be the most helpful and well run service at the school. The OCD is geared towards helping students on a very interpersonal level so I was able to work with the same advisor my entire time at Stevens forming a very strong relationship. This counseling, which ranged from in depth résumé or interviewing workshops to impromptu questions on how to word an , enabled me to take advantage of all the OCD has to offer and graduate from Stevens with a strong résumé, two internship experiences in my area of interest and a full time job offer with my first choice company.
