2 For the last 80 years, the College of Business at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania has defined business education by transforming students lives, impacting the regional business community, and producing innovative scholarship. Today, we graduate over 300 students a year and serve a diverse student body of more than 1,500 students. Our innovative programs and proven record of excellence helped us achieve accreditation by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in The AACSB is the premier international accrediting agency for bachelor s, master s, and doctoral degree programs in business administration and accounting. With only 15 percent of business schools attaining this accreditation, we are honored to be counted among The Best Business Schools in the World. Our students receive accredited degrees in Accounting, Business Education, Information Technology Management, Finance, Management Information Systems, Marketing, and Management.

6 Enhance Academic Excellence Achieving academic excellence is our fundamental goal. It is the core of the College of Business vision and mission and is pivotal in recruiting, retaining, and graduating talented students. 1. Enhance the academic environment through comprehensive student outreach efforts, developmental curricular and co-curricular learning opportunities, and improving access by increasing scholarship funding. 2. Strengthen educational offerings by improving and aligning faculty recruitment, retention, and development efforts. 3. Support student and faculty efforts by delivering efficient and effective administrative support.

7 Strengthen and Elevate Accounting Program The Accounting Program responds to business needs by producing graduates that exceed stakeholder expectations. As one of the anchor programs in the College of Business, new resources are needed to strengthen and elevate the program s reputation. 1. Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and outreach campaign. 2. Expand the breadth and depth of the Fraud Examination program. 3. Engage alumni base. 4. Establish a Master of Accountancy to address educational needs of those seeking CPA licensure. 5. Develop accessible programming for external stakeholders.

8 Establish Professional Development Program The Professional Development Program is designed to compliment each student s rigorous academic preparation with the personal and professional skills necessary to succeed in the business world or graduate school. 1. Develop and execute a comprehensive Professional Development Program. 2. Recruit and develop personnel to support program priorities. 3. Develop financial resources to support program priorities.
