1 Optum Cloud Dashboard Technology Release on Aug. 22, 2014 Optum Cloud Release Communication New Option for linking multiple UnitedHealthcareOnline.com User IDs to an Optum ID. Multiple UnitedHealthcareOnline.com User IDs can now link them to one Optum ID. This can be done in one of two ways: One Optum ID: If an Optum ID has already been established for one UnitedHealthcareOnline.com User ID, and a user would like to link another UnitedHealthcareOnline.com User ID to that same Optum ID, it can be done when the user links back to UnitedHealthcareOnline.com. o Now when linking from Optum Cloud Dashboard to UnitedHealthcareOnline.com, a new screen will display UnitedHealthcareOnline.com User IDs. Initially, only the User ID that is tied to that Optum ID will be displayed on the new screen. o More UnitedHealthcareOnline.com User IDs can be added by clicking Login here on the screen (see below). o Once the linkage has been established, these linked organizations will appear in a new Organization Selection drop down box that has been added to each of the Optum Cloud Dashboard applications. o On subsequent links from Optum Cloud Dashboard to UnitedHealthcareOnline.com, the added User IDs will be displayed so the user can select the one they wish to use to log into UnitedHealthcareOnline.com. If the added User ID was already tied to a different Optum ID or if the User ID has the same address as another Aug. 22, 2014 Release Notes 1
2 UnitedHealthcareOnline.com User ID, then that User ID will not be displayed on the list. Two or more Optum IDs: If a user has multiple UnitedHealthcareOnline.com User IDs and has already set up different Optum IDs for each of them, but would like to link them to one Optum ID, they should contact the Optum Cloud Help Desk for assistance. Please note, each User ID must have a unique . Organization Selection Step Added to all Applications A new step has been added to the Eligibility & Benefits Center, Claims Management and Claims Reconsideration applications that will allow users to select from the organizations they have linked to their Optum ID through the process described above. The drop down is labeled - Step 1: Provider/Organization You Are Representing. If multiple User IDs are not linked, this step will still appear, but the organization will be pre-selected in the drop down list. Please see below for a screen shot of this step. Provider Managed Security Update A organization drop down box will also appear as first screen in the Provider Managed Security Application. If multiple organizations have been linked, this will allow a Password Owner/ID Administrator to manage a user s access to these listed organizations. Once an organization is selected, it will appear at the top of the Provider Managed Security page. Aug. 22, 2014 Release Notes 2
3 Eligibility and Benefit Center Member ID Cards Available View a copy of a Commercial member identification card from the Eligiblity and Benefits application. When a member ID Card is not available, a message is shown to indicate a card is not yet available. UnitedHealthcare Community Plan and Medicare Advantage member ID cards are currently not available for display but will be added in the near future. Provider Network Status The provider s network status will now be displayed for UnitedHealthcare Community Plan members. Coordination of Benefits The UHC Primary field has been activated and will now display Yes or No for most members. For plans not available, the field will show Unknown. Aug. 22, 2014 Release Notes 3
4 A hover tip has been added to provide additional clarity when a member has an active Medicare policy. Claims Management Links to Claim Reconsiderations Added A Create Claim Reconsideration link has been added to the My Actions menu in Claims Management. The link will only be displayed in the dropdown if there is not already a claim reconsideration on file for the claim (see screenshot 1). Screenshot 1 o If there is a claim reconsideration request on file, a summary will display at the bottom of the page. The History link opens up the ticket with the selected update option in the dropdown menu (see screenshot 2). Aug. 22, 2014 Release Notes 4

6 Feedback on Claims Management Application On the My Actions menu, users can select Feedback to answer a short survey about using the Claims Management Application. My Actions Menu Enhanced The My Actions menu now has options to: o Export o Print o Flag / Unflag Previously Tag and Untag Renamed for consistency o Create Claim Reconsideration (will not be available if a reconsideration already exists for this claim). See above Closed Claims Additonal clarity has been added to the explanation on claims that have been closed requiring additional information. Claims Reconsideration Claim Reconsideration History Displayed When the Create Reconsideration Request button is selected for a claim that has a previously submitted ticket or a draft ticket, a new tab will open with the previously submitted request. From this history page a previously submitted ticket or the draft can be opened. Aug. 22, 2014 Release Notes 6
7 Message Added for Closed Claims If a claim is in Closed status, a new message will be displayed, This Claim has not been processed in our system at this time. Please follow the instructions in the letter which was sent to you in regards to this claim. Additional Information The Claim Reconsideration application is not yet available for TRICARE West, UMR, Midwest Security Life Insurance Company, Neighborhood Health Partnership, OneNet PPO, UnitedHealthOne or UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Nevada.
