Environmental Planner, Urban Planner, Town Planner, Statutory Planner, Transport Planner, Regional Planner reachyourpotential.com.au/courses/y94 PLANNING AT ECU PREPARES YOU FOR THE REAL CHALLENGES OF THE PROFESSION. 18 After viewing the Planning courses offered at the other universities in WA, I found that the course at ECU provided a more tailored approach to the field, allowing you to choose the areas of planning that specifically interest you. The skills I am attaining through my studies are preparing me for the real challenges I will face in the workforce. Not just planning challenges, but a wider range of business and organisational issues. I like the fact that I could take these skills and apply them to a wide range of careers. Overall, studying at ECU is a very positive experience. The lecturers are always available to answer your questions and assist you in any way they can. Samuel Yaksich ECU Planning student

I chose to study Planning at ECU due to the practicality and diversity of the course, and also because the Planning course is accredited by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA). The facilities at ECU are exceptional, it was so easy to study off-campus when required and access resources. The knowledge and experience of the teaching staff was reflected through their classes and taught me important practical real-world skills. I had multiple job offers after completing my course and am now working as a town Planner with the City of Wanneroo, which is great! Rana Murad ECU Planning graduate 19
