2 Purpose To provide a forum for clinical researchers to share and discuss the impact of research on clinical practice and patient outcomes. Target audience This conference has been developed for staff nurses, advanced practice nurses, educators, managers, administrators, and students involved or interested in enhancing clinical practice or patient outcomes through research. Keynote speaker Elaine Larson, PhD, RN, CIC, Professor of Pharmaceutical and Therapeutic Research, School of Nursing Associate Dean of Research, School of Nursing (home dept.) Director, Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Antimicrobial Resistance; Columbia University. Continuing education Children s Hospital and Health System is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Wisconsin Nurses Association Continuing education Approval Program Committee, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center s Commission on Accreditation. Nurses who successfully complete this activity will receive 6.75 nursing contact hours. How to register Go to to complete your registration. No fax or phone registrations will be accepted. You will receive a confirmation upon completion of your registration. If you do not receive confirmation within 10 days, please call Marie Grevsmuehl at (414) to verify your registration. Conference fees $95 General registration by April 23, 2010 $125 After April 23, 2010 $40 Student rate by April 23, 2010 $50 After April 23, 2010 $60 1 st poster author or 2 nd oral paper presenter if registered by April 23, 2010 $70 After April 23, 2010 Refund policy If notice is received by May 1, 2009, you will receive a refund of your registration fee minus a $40 administrative processing fee. No refunds will be made after that date unless the conference is cancelled. You may send a substitute.
