Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management (Ph.D.EM) Course Objective: This course is designed to enhance professionals for highly competent performances as effective managers, leaders, professionals or academicians. It aims to prepare educational administrators for dynamic leadership in their fields of specialization with emphasis on advanced research for a better educational system towards national development. It specifically aims to develop in students: 1. expert level of theoretical knowledge in an area of specialization in education. 2. competence and motivation to draw from expert level knowledge to understand and solve different problems related to their area of specialization in education; and. competence to undertake advanced independent research in an area of specialization in education, including the ability to pose theoretically meaningful problem and hypotheses, gather and analyze data, and communicate the results and theoretical and practical implications of the research to diverse audiences.

3 2. Doctor in Business Administration (DBA) Course Objective: The DBA program gives particular attention to the development of candidates as managers and business professionals. It places a high value on the transferability of investigative findings to and from the workplace, and it expects that the researcher s own learning will contribute to the development of professional practice. Thus, a key characteristic of the DBA degree is that it recognizes the workplace as both the field for and the beneficiary of high quality research. DBA candidates should seek to integrate and diffuse their doctoral studies within their working environment. The DBA Program focused on the candidate and his/ her business, and is designed to: 1. develop high caliber executives and consultants with applied research skills and advanced managerial skills to direct enterprises that operate in a complex, global and competitive environment; 2. advance the long term viability of the organizations through the candidates high level contributions;. to enhance the effectiveness of organization through the application of the theory to real-life situation; 4. provide an opportunity to undertake a major individual research study which will have specific benefit to the candidates organization and career; 5. offer small, highly interactive and dynamic research sessions, delivered by commercially experienced practitioner and academicians carefully selected for their practicality, excellence in teaching and outstanding performance in both intellectual and business practice.

Doctor of Philosophy in Management (Ph.D.M) Course Objective: The aim of the PhD in Management Program is to enhance the candidate s capacity, through advanced course work and research and to deepen his appreciation of the relationship between research and professional activities in management. Throughout the program, PhD candidates are expected to grow as leaders and make a distinct contribution to knowledge of management whether by original investigation or a review or criticism. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to promote the extension of knowledge and research to serve and develop new and better practices in management in whatever type of organizations.
