4 Dear ERG Summit and Convention sponsors, participants and volunteers! Welcome to the 2015 NAAAP National Convention, ERG summit, and Recruitment Expo at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. We are delighted that you are here. Whether it s your first time or tenth time to our national convention, we hope that the next 3 days will be inspirational, eye-opening, and enriching. With deliberate and thoughtful planning, NAAAP has invited veteran and emerging leaders from a variety of industries to present in our ERG Summit, Convention, and Recruitment Expo. This year s theme, Resilience: Power of the Asian Leader, focuses on the sustained energy that each of us puts into our careers, families, and communities. Resilience is an attribute that is often used to describe Asians and we believe resilience is a quality that builds great leaders. Resilience is possible with the three C s: Competencies: foundational skills that build strong leaders; Condition: personal health, effective relationships, strong families; and Community: creating better communities through work, volunteerism, activism, ERG/BRG/employee groups, effective networking, and outreach. We wish to express genuine appreciation for our sponsors who provide us with funding, guidance, and examples of making Resilience work. We also extend congratulations to the Dallas-Ft.
