Nursing Administrative Positions Held Chair Undergraduate & Graduate Nursing of Populations Programs Boise State University March 2014-present I currently oversee the undergraduate pre-licensure program and the MS/MN nursing of populations program. These serve approximately 500 upper level students. I oversee 28 faculty and staff, and serve on school and university wide committees. Associate Dean for Nursing Education Stevenson University July 2010-November 2013 As the Chief Nurse Administrator for the nursing unit at Stevenson University, I oversaw all nursing programs including the undergraduate pre-licensure program, the RN-BS program and the new online graduate programs (a total of 900+ students). I supervised 16 full-time faculty and over 50 adjuncts and clinical instructors, overseeing a budget of 2 million dollars. I also oversaw several grant budgets exceeding 1.9 million dollars. Interim Associate Provost and Professor Mansfield University Aug July 2007 In this position I served for two years as the Interim Associate Provost,

2 during which I was primarily responsible for the oversight of the teacher preparation programs, which served approximately 1000 students. My primary responsibilities included preparations for the NCATE accreditation, faculty development, and other duties as assigned by the Provost. Chair of Graduate Studies Council and Faculty Associate, Mansfield University Aug July 2005 In this position I chaired the Graduate Council which oversaw all graduate programs at Mansfield University. This included curriculum development, revisions and all other issues pertaining to graduate education. Program Director-Women s Studies Mansfield University Jan Aug In this position I oversaw the inter-disciplinary Women s Studies program, which was a minor in Women s Studies and included courses within multiple departments. 3 Mansfield University Professor of Nursing August Teaching Experience Major responsibilities included lecture and clinical teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in a variety of courses including: Measurement and Evaluation in Education, (graduate level, online), Teaching & Learning (graduate, online), Research and Evaluation (graduate level, online Masters in Organizational Leadership program), The Childbearing/Childrearing Family (Course-head--undergraduate, with clinical), Women's Health Issues (undergraduate, online), Public Health & Social Justice (undergraduate), and a First-Year Student Seminar. In recent years I also served in interim and regular administrative roles at Mansfield, and have been involved intimately in the management of the university at the highest levels, including preparations for accreditation of the nursing (NLN) and teacher preparation programs (NCATE) and university review by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Volgograd University, Russia Visiting Professor In the fall of 2002, I was the visiting Professor at Volgograd University, Volgograd, Russia, as part of the Mansfield faculty/student exchange program. During this semester I taught conversational English and a course on American Women. In May 2003 I returned to Volgograd, Russia, at the invitation of the Volgograd Pedagogical University. I taught English and a course on American Women and Feminism for three weeks. Binghamton University Lecturer August '87-July'92 Major responsibilities were lecture and clinical teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level in a variety of courses including: Obstetrics, Community Health Nursing, Community as Client, Physical Assessment and Fundamentals, and Health Care Systems (graduate level). Recent Related Experience In addition to teaching, I maintained and expanded my clinical nursing skills and research experience in the following professional positions; January Program evaluation consultant (per diem) for BECS, Inc.-an evaluation consulting firm based in Sayre, Pa. and owned by Dr. Kathryn Bowen. Spring Child Abuse Prevention Educator, Mansfield University. I provided workshops three or four times a year for local nurses, educators, police, etc. regarding the prevention, identification, and reporting of child abuse. 3 3

Pennsylvania Canadian Studies Consortium-Research Award-Spring This award enabled me to continue my sabbatical research on school-based health care, including collaborative work with faculty at Nipissing University (North Bay) and McGill University (Montreal). Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga, Australia---Visiting Professor Fellowship ---Sept/Oct This award enabled me to study schoolbased health care in Australia collaboratively with nursing faculty at Charles Sturt University for two months. I was also able to study the Australian healthcare system and nursing education while in the country 2008 Pennsylvania State System Diversity Grants, $12, 000 for the development of a summer leadership academy for minority youth, to foster confidence, academic skills, and career exploration, including nursing and teaching.. Renewed for the summer of These funds were matched by Elmira School District, NY each year. Improving Economic Self-Sufficiency for Women: Current Status, Future Goals and Intervention Strategies with BECS, Inc., Sayre, PA. (I worked as a consultant on this $50,000 evaluation project with a team of feminist evaluators from Jan to Aug. 2003).
