1 Table 1 MBA Program Goals 1. Demonstrate functional business knowledge in a global environment. (Business Knowledge/Global Perspective) Assessed in and also in 805, 840, 875, 885 ACBSP Goals 3, 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, 7, 7A, 7B, 7C 1.1 Apply quantitative concepts and methods in a global environment. 1.2 Apply theories of leadership, organizational behavior, ethics, and marketing, considering the context of a global environment. 2. Evaluate ethical situations and make effective leadership decisions, considering the global context where appropriate. (Ethical Leadership) Assessed in MBA 885 and also 895, and 805, when applicable ACBSP Goals 1, 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 4, 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, 5, 5A, 5B, 5C, 5D (7, 7A, 7B, 7C) 2.1 Identify and analyze ethical issues encountered in organizations and in the context of business decision-making. Propose viable recommendations to resolve ethical dilemmas. 2.2 Students will evaluate their own individual ethical development and philosophy. 3. Use effective written and oral forms of communication, work successfully as a team member, and demonstrate an understanding of collaboration fostered by leadership. (Communication ) Assessed in MBA 825 and also 885, and 895 ACBSP Goals 1, 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D 3.1 Analyze communication within an organization and its employees and identify the components of successful communication. 3.2 Apply effective writing technique to support a position. Writing will have a clear purpose, good flow, logical support of the argument, and follow APA guidelines. 3.3 Demonstrate effective use of presentation skills including appropriate selection and use of technology to enhance delivery and increase clarity. 3.4 Analyze how the leader communicates and fosters collaboration and provides action steps that reflects this understanding. 4. Apply analytical and quantitative skills for decision-making, considering global issues when appropriate. (Analytical/Quantitative ) Assessed in (on an annual rotating basis), and also 895 ACBSP Goals 6, 6A, 6B, 6C, 6D, 1, 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 4, 4D, 5, 5C, 7, 7A, 7B, 7C 4.1 Analyze a business problem using the correct methodology and/or software, and identify insufficient or missing data. 4.2 Synthesize the results to discuss a SWOT analysis and fully evaluate alternative s of action and make recommendations. 4.3 Synthesize and present data appropriately using graphics.

Students will evaluate, synthesize, and critically analyze qualitative information and quantitative data to make strategically aligned decisions in a global environment.
