2 Jan2011-Mar2014 Post-doc position at the Observatory of Rome (INAF) for working at the Italian Space Agency Science Data Center (ASDC). Duty project: I managed satellite data from optical and infrared astronomical observations and I optimized data from level 2.0 to level 2.5 to support the scientific community. I worked with both spectroscopic and photometric acquisitions of Swift and Herschel satellites. I developed several data-minig tests with R and Python languages for the future Gaia data. Research project: I studied the chemical and physical properties of the Galactic globular clusters and star-forming regions. I reduced photometric data of optical and infrared, ground-based (CFHT, SDSS) and space-based (HST, Herschel) telescopes. Sep2010-Dec2010 Fellowship at the European Southern Observatoy (ESO), Garching, Munich. Research project: I investigated the structural parameters and the photometric properties of the Galactic globular clusters in optical and near-infrared bands. I reduced photometric imayes acquired by the Advance Camera for Survey (ACS) on board of the HST and by several ground-based ESO telescopes (MAD-VLT, HAWKI VLT). To perform photometric analysis I used IRAF, DAOPHOT, ALLSTAR and ALLFRAME programs, and IDL and FORTRAN languages. Feb2010-Jul.2010 Oct2006-Dec2009 Fellowship at the University of Rome Tor Vergata Research project: I analysed ground-based (MAD-VLT, HAWKI-VLT) data of stellar clusters with IRAF, DAOPHOT, ALLSTAR and ALLFRAME programs, and IDL and FORTRAN languages. PhD student at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, with a grant funded by the National Institute of Astrophysics Research project: I reduced photometric imayes acquired by the optical (UBV, ugriz) and near-infrared bands (JHK), from both space (HST) and ground-based (CFHT, SDSS) telescopes. I studied the chemical (metallicity, alpha-elements) and physical (tidal radius, density profiles) properties of several Galactic globular clusters.
