Comité de Gestión de la Iniciativa de Aire Limpio para Lima y Callao FM-1: 1: Implementation of the maximum permissible limits for vehicles Control of emissions in the process each year. Results: There is an improvement in the fleet. 10% disapproved vehicles in 2010 compared to 2009 which was 16%.

FM-3 Introduction of clean buses in the Metropolitan Network Exclusive Routes for Buses

FM-3 Automotive Park Improvement Byy Law No , 2008, prohibiting the importation of used vehicles with diesel engine (with the exception of large trucks and buses) from January 1, This measure was able to significantly decrease the supply of diesel vehicles. We have implemented programs such as : the Metropolitan Taxi, My Taxi and others, designed to support the replacement of vehicles. To this end, has won substantial support from the Development Finance Corporation SA financial system to support these programs. Today there is a renewal and modernization of the fleet of mass transit (buses and minibuses), significant inflow of new vehicles increased capacity and lower emissions. Most of these units are CNG powered.

FF-1 Maximum emission limits for stationary sources with relevance to air quality LMPS established: Fishmeal and Fish Oil Waste Flour hydrobiological Cld Caldero, Dry-cleaning textiles Paper Particle emissions from cement industry

C-1 Improving the quality of fuels Lima-Callao consumes Diesel 50 ppm S from 1st January 2010 (DS N º EM, ) Improvement of 5000 ppm to 50 ppm S. For the other cities of Perú PETROPERU produce a diesel with 1250 ppm S. REPSOL produces a diesel of 4900 ppm S (This is a problem ) By 2015 a national level will have 50 ppm S

C-2 Promotion of fn Natural lg Gas Through the Energy Matrix Change.- Was regulated efficiently the system conversion, certification and intelligent charging gfor conversions to CNG vehicles. Today there are about 256 authorized conversion workshops and have been converted over 98,000 vehicles.

I-2 Reformulation of the vehicle tax system In late 2007 eliminates the Excise Tax - ISC, the new gasoline- powered vehicles, so they can be converted to GAS. This measure has generated a lower demand for diesel cars.

OT-1 Establishing a Metropolitan Network exclusive routes with set schedules, whereabouts determined for cleaner buses It has a high h capacity segregated corridor - COSAC I. it is planned to develop nine corridors

OT-2 Introduction of other means of Transport and Red Exclusive Line 1 of Electrical Mass Transit System in Lima and Callao, 201 starts its operation, currently under construction. The line connects the South of Lima, with the north-east of the capital. Integra on their way 10 districts. More than 3 million inhabitants are served by the line, which represents 41% of total population of Metropolitan Lima - Callao. Line a projected 26 passenger stations and an elevated viaduct mostly double track, which will have an approximate length of 34 kms.

OT- 4 INCREASE OF GREEN AREAS The municipalities have The municipalities have been increasing landscaping in Lima-Callao.

OT-5 BIKEWAY CONSTRUCTION AND WALKWAYS It has built and rehabilitated bike paths according to the Master Plan Ciclovías Lima and Callao Callao Bike lanes nuevas 10 Km.

Newly opened Green Coast Project 3.7 km of cycle tracks 1469 m2 of green areas

OT- 8 EARTH TERMINAL IMPLEMENTATION ( Bus Station Interprovincial transport heavy vehicles) O d 2010 L t di N thli di ti t fi d d i Opened Located in North Lima district of Independencia m2 built area. Investment of 25 million dollars.

Modelo IPIECA y EMOD/CMAP The Management Committee of the Clean Air Initiative for Lima and Callao to evaluate the effectiveness of measures to implement the models being used: IPIECA model calculates the Cost - Effectiveness of measures. EMOD / CMAP, a model that helps identify areas of concentration of pollutants. Both models were applied to the Plan for LIMA-Callao.

GOALS AND CHALLENGES Control, reduce or eliminate emissions of pollutants, so that in five years maximum particulate matter concentrations of 10 and 2.5 micrograms (PM10 and PM2.5) are less than the provisions ii of Air Quality Standards, well as the concentrations of sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and Lead (Pb). To strengthen the institutions involved in the management of Air Quality. Designing i strategies to have the financiali resources necessary for the operation and maintenance Monitoring Air Quality.

Apply and if any further establish environmental standards to protect public health. Expanding the scientific knowledge about the causes of deteriorating air quality. Promote the development of non-aggressive activities to the environment. Encourage the active participation of the population.
