It is the school district s expectation that all students will achieve the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards as well as the Common Core Standards at all grade levels. II. III. 3 EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR PRESCHOOL DISABILITIES PROGRAM Board of Education approves the establishment of an Extended School Year Preschool Disabilities Program, to include one Preschool Teacher of the Handicapped for four (4) hours daily for eighteen (18) days and two teacher assistants for four and one half (4.5) hours daily for eighteen (18) days, at the Lincoln Park Elementary School, effective July 1, 2015 through July 24, EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR KITES PROGRAM Board of Education approves the establishment of an Extended School Year KITES Program, to include two Teachers of the Handicapped for four (4) hours daily for eighteen (18) days and six teacher assistants for four and one half (4.5) hours daily for eighteen (18) days, at the Lincoln Park Elementary School, effective July 1, 2015 through July 24, EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR LAL/MATH PROGRAM Board of Education approves the establishment of an Extended School Year LAL/Math Program, to include two Teachers of the Handicapped for four (4) hours daily for thirteen (13) days, at the Lincoln Park Elementary School, effective July 1, 2015 through July 17, NURSE AND THERAPIST POSITIONS FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS Board of Education approves the establishment of Summer Nurse and Therapist positions, to include one (1) School Nurse, one (1) Occupational Therapist, one (1) Physical Therapist, and one (1) Speech Therapist, services to be implemented over an eighteen (18) day period, at the Lincoln Park Elementary School, effective July 1, 2015 through July 24, ONE-ON-ONE AIDE POSITIONS FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS Board of Education approves the establishment of three (3) one-on-one aide positions for four and one-half (4.5) hours daily to be implemented over an eighteen (18) day period at Lincoln Park Elementary School, effective July 1, 2015 through July 24, HOME BASED ESY INSTRUCTIONAL AND THERAPIST POSITIONS, STUDENT # Board of Education approves the establishment of home instruction and therapy positions, to include one (1) teacher for 7 hours per week, one (1) physical therapist for 2 hours per week, one (1) occupational therapist for 1 hour per week and one (1) speech therapist for 1 hour per week, effective July 1, 2015 through August 31, Page 3 of 8

HOME BASED ESY SPEECH THERAPY SERVICES, STUDENT # Board of Education approves the establishment of home-based speech therapy services for student State ID # , for up to 2.5 hours per week, effective July 1, 2015 through August 31, PROFESSIONAL DAY WORKSHOP ATTENDANCE Board of Education approves the following professional days: WHEREAS, employees of the Lincoln Park Board of Education have requested professional days; and WHEREAS, The Board of Education has determined that the training and informational programs delineated below are directly related to and within the scope of the employees duties, current responsibilities and the Board s professional development plan; and WHEREAS, The Board of Education has determined that participation at the stated functions require school district travel expenditures and that this travel is critical to the instructional needs of the district and/or furthers the efficient operation of the district; and WHEREAS, The Board of Education has determined that the school district travel expenditures for the stated functions are in compliance with State travel guidelines as established by the Department of the Treasury and within the guidelines established by the federal Office of Management and Budget; except as superseded by conflicting provisions of Title 18A of the New Jersey Statutes; and WHEREAS, The Board of Education finds that a mileage reimbursement rate equal to that of the State of New Jersey Office of Management and Budget mileage reimbursement rate of $0.31 per mile is a reasonable rate; and WHEREAS, The Board of Education has determined that participation at the stated function is in compliance with the district policy on travel. MATERNITY LEAVE, BELL Board of Education approves Kristin Bell, Grade 4 Teacher, Lincoln Park Elementary School, for maternity leave beginning May 18, 2015 through June 19, 2015 as sick days, September 2, 2015 as a personal day, and September 3, 2015 through November 25, 2015 under the Family Medical Leave Act, unpaid with benefits, returning to work November 30, C. FINANCE 1. TENTATIVE SCHOOL BUDGET RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Lincoln Park Board of Education recommends that the tentative budget be approved for the School Year using the state aid figures and the Secretary to the Board of Education be authorized to submit the following tentative budget to the Executive County Superintendent of Schools for approval in accordance with the statutory deadline: GENERAL SPECIAL DEBT FUND REVENUES SERVICE TOTAL Total Expenditures 20,405, , ,892 21,276,406 Less: Anticipated Revenues 2,705, ,441 63,011 2,912,756 Taxes to be Raised 17,699, ,881 18,363,650 And to advertise said tentative budget in the Daily Record in accordance with the form suggested by the State Department of Education and according to law; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held at Lincoln Park Public Schools New Jersey on April 20, 2015 at 7:00 pm for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on the budget for the School Year. 2. MAXIMUM SPENDING LEVELS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RESOLUTION WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A: 23A-5.2, a board of education must establish a maximum dollar limit for professional services and public relations, as defined in N.J.A.C. 6A: 23A NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lincoln Park Board of Education hereby establishes the following maximums for the year as follows: Architecture/Engineering $ 15,000 Legal $ 20,000 Audit $ 20,600 Physician $ 10,000 For a total amount of $ 65,600 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the School Business Administrator track ad record these costs to insure that the maximum amount is not exceeded. SCHOOL DISTRICT TRAVEL MAXIMUM, RESOLUTION WHEREAS, school district policy and N.J.A.C. 6A:23a-7.1 et seq. provides that the board of education shall establish in the annual school budget a maximum expenditure amount that may be allotted for such travel and expense reimbursement for the school year; and WHEREAS, maximum expenditure amount allotted for travel and expense reimbursement for the school year was $1,500 per employee; and WHEREAS, travel and expense reimbursement has reached a total amount of $6,041 as of March 1, 2015; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lincoln Park School District Board of Education, in the County of Morris, New Jersey hereby establishes the school district travel maximum for the school year at the sum of $20,796; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the School Business Administrator shall track and record these costs to insure that the maximum amount is not exceeded. 4.
