1 College Fairs And Programs In The Atlanta Area There are many College Fairs and visits scheduled at other locations throughout the year that are OPEN to North Springs students. If your student is interested in any of these schools you may want to attend. Wednesday, September 12 UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME Metro Area Program 7:00 PM at MARIST Ashford Dunwoody Rd, NE Atlanta, GA Michael Mesterharm Wednesday, September 12 AMERICAN UNIVERSITY has a Metro Area Admissions Information Session 6:30-8:30 THE GALLOWAY SCHOOL in the Chaddick Lobby of the Theatre. 215 West Wieuca Road, NW Atlanta, Georgia Thursday, September 13 TULANE UNIVERSITY Metro Area Program. 7:00pm Renaissance Atlanta Wavery Hotel 2450 Galleria Parkway Atlanta, Georgia Saturday, September Black Men of Atlanta, Inc College Fair 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. This year's Fair will be held in the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) Building C, Hall B1 (off of Northside Drive in Atlanta). We are inviting admission and financial aid officers from a number of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) along with other majority colleges and universities from Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and

2 Georgia, to showcase their respective institutions at this annual, free Fair geared toward high school juniors and seniors. Students may want to bring copies of their most recent transcripts as well as any test scores they may already have available (PSAT, ACT, SAT, etc.). Parking Buses may unload students at the GWCC-Building C and then park in the Georgia Dome Blue Lot located on Northside Drive and Thurmond Street (see MAP) for a fee of $25 per bus to be paid directly to the lot attendant the day of arrival. The GWCC-Building C is in walking distance to the Blue Lot. We do not provide food and beverage for the students. Please keep this fact in mind when planning your trip. We recommend that every ten students attending the Fair have at least one adult chaperone accompanying them. Reservations To make reservations to attend the College Fair, please complete the College Fair Registration Form(s). If you are bringing a group, please use the group reservation form. If students are coming on their own and are not part of a larger group, please have them to complete the individual form. Hosted by: Walton High School and Walton PTSA College displays are on the lower level of the mall in alphabetical order beginning with A at Sears and ending with Y at the opposite end near Von Maur. (Please note the University of Georgia will be with the U s at the Von Maur end of the mall. Other universities are listed by name i.e. University of Alabama is listed as Alabama, Univ. of; therefore, it will be in the A section near Sears.) There may be some colleges in attendance that did not pre-register for this fair. Those colleges are located near Von Maur.
