Chamber Singers The MGA Chamber Singers comprises students, faculty and staff and performs on and off campus each semester. In past years, they have sung with the Macon Symphony Orchestra, the Albany Symphony Orchestra, in England and France. The chorus rehearses on Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30-1:45 in the Arts Complex Rehearsal Hall. You do not have to take the course for credit in order to be a member, but you must diligently attend rehearsals. Southeast Model African Union SEMAU (University System of Georgia s South East Model African Union) is an annual simulation program sanctioned by the University System of Georgia in which USG colleges and universities participate. The annual conference s finale is the Annual National Model AU Conference held in Washington, D.C. in February of each year. Students who participate in the program benefit by learning about Robert s Rules of Procedures & Debate, coalition building, conflict resolution and diplomatic conduct. Students engage in debates on political, social and economic problems that are facing Africa and the world. This program is an interdisciplinary simulation program which enhances students self-confidence and public speaking skills. Student Art League Encourage art appreciation and provide outlets for artistic expression. Student Government Association Promote understanding and involvement among all members of the College community.
