1 PROGRAM REQUIREMENT EDUCATION REQUIREMENT requirements All staff must meet minimum liensing requirements whih inlude: must be 2 years old and have a high shool diploma or its equivalent; have or be working towards a Level I NCECAC 9 or its equivalent; OR have 2 years of full-time early hildhood work experiene; OR have an assoiate, undergraduate or graduate degree with at least 2 semester redit hours in ECE/CD, or a CDA or ompletion of a ommunity ollege early hildhood eduation ertifiate/diploma; OR year of full-time early hildhood work experiene and the NCECC 6 ; have ompleted or be enrolled in 2 semester redit hours of early hildhood eduation administration oursework Note: All administrators must begin work towards a NCECAC 9 or its equivalent within 6 months of assuming the duties of administrator and must omplete a NCECAC 9 or its equivalent within 2 years Centers with a liensed apaity of 200 or more must also have a seond on-site hild are administrator who meets minimum requirements and has a Level I NCECAC 9 or its equivalent must be 8 years old and have a high shool diploma or its equivalent; have or be working towards the NCECC 6, or its equivalent or at least a Level ertifiation on the ECE sale; OR have year of hild are experiene working in a enter or 2 years experiene as a liensed family hild are home operator; OR have ompleted a 2-year high shool hild are program; OR have 20 additional hours of training in hild development within the first 6 months of employment Note: All lead teahers must begin work towards the NCECC 6 or its equivalent within 6 months of assuming the duties of lead teaher and must omplete the NCECC 6 or its equivalent within 8 months must be 8 years old and have a high shool diploma or its equivalent; have year of hild are experiene working in a enter or 2 years experiene as a liensed family hild are home operator; OR have ompleted a 2-year high shool hild are program; OR have 20 additional hours of training in hild development within the first 6 months of employment pt. pt. The following requirements shall also be met for 6 points: () shall have a Level II NCECAC 9 or its equivalent; (2) ompleted 8 semester hours in ECE/CD (not inluding NCECAC 9 oursework or hours earned in the A.A.S. degree); EITHER (A) 3 years of full-time verifiable work experiene in an early hildhood enter teahing young hildren; OR (B) 3 years of administrative experiene; OR (C) 3 years of a ombination of both All Lead Teahers shall have the NCECC 6, its equivalent or a Level or higher ertifiation 2 on the ECE sale 3 ; 50% of the Lead Teahers shall have either: () an AAS degree in ECE/CD or an AAS degree in any major with 2 semester hours in ECE/CD and year of full-time verifiable early hildhood work experiene; OR (2) ompleted 60 semester hours towards a BA/BS degree program with at least 2 semester hours in early hildhood eduation and year of fulltime verifiable early hildhood work experiene; OR (3) a Level 6 or higher ertifiation 2 on the ECE sale 3 and year of full-time verifiable early hildhood work experiene; OR (4) any ombination of Subparagraph () through (3) of this Paragraph 50% of the Teahers shall have the NCECC 6, its equivalent or a Level or higher ertifiation 2 on the ECE sale 3 ; EITHER () ompleted 3 additional semester hours in ECE/CD (not inluding NCECC 6 oursework) and year of full-time verifiable early hildhood work experiene; OR (2) a Level 2 or higher ertifiation 2 on the ECE sale 3 and year of full-time verifiable early hildhood work experiene; OR 6pts.
