1 Crisis Care Kits for Women s Shelter Project: Gather items (prior to event) needed at local women s shelters, construct kits and deliver kits to shelters on day of event Project Leaders: Jackie Surdenik / jackiesurdenik@att.net # of Volunteers needed: Contact Rescue Mission, Eve, Charlotte Women s Shelter Collect Items Needed (donations through Meet the Need) (500 of each) Gallon Ziploc bags Body sponges, body wash, bar soap Shampoo, conditioner, hair brush, gel, hairspray Toothbrush, toothpaste Feminine products Pillows, towels, pillow cases Fabric for pillow cases Lotion, perfume, etc. Partner with Bath & Body Works??? Totes/boxes to transfer kits Small packages of Kleenex Coloring books, crayons, stuffed animals (for children) Know how to sew Want to be involved in a project requiring minimal manual labor This project is Family Friendly 1

Partner with local car repair businesses to donate supplies & labor Oil Spark Plugs Air filters Knowledge of car repair Ability 2
3 Dance Your Shoes Off: Dance Flash Mob: Project: Perform choreographed dance routines around city simultaneously & dancers donate new shoes to local Volunteers of America/Homeless Angels Project Leaders: Anna Maria Horn, Stephanie Butler, Karen, Sharon, Fawn # of Volunteers needed: 150+ Recruit volunteers (partner with Newsboys) Choreograph routine (for ideas, youtube dance your shoes off ) Schedule practice dates at local churches prior to event Choose location sites for mobs (front of capitol during Komen race, Lansing Mall, Recruit sound equipment for each location 150 new pair of shoes (dancers provide own if can, Playmakers, shoe repair shops Prayer cards Available to provide own transportation Enjoy dancing Able to attend rehearsals prior to event This project is Family Friendly 3
