1 Central Services Strategic Plan Human Resources Yosemite Community College District Vision for Human Resources: Human Resources is an administrative services operation that promotes diverse perspectives and experiences for our educational environment enhancing the quality of services provided to the colleges and communities we serve. Mission of Human Resources: The Human Resources department empowers the human capital of YCCD to create a safe student-centered, community-based learning environment. Values: 1. Respectful communication and collaboration 2. Excellent customer service through continuous improvement of services 3. Integrity and honesty 4. Institutional effectiveness by promoting and enhancing diversity Guiding Principles: 1. HR is a vital service and resource 2. Technical assistance to our constituencies 3. Promotes a collaborative and responsive environment 4. Resourceful teamwork with a positive attitude 5. The YCCD aligns human and financial resources to provide quality support to meet the needs of the District. 6. Community Leadership a. Support civic engagement projects with fiscal resources and/or in-kind donations. 7. Partnerships a. Seek partnerships with educational, business, and governmental organizations to benefit staff. 8. Institutional Effectiveness a. Human Resources uses its participatory environment to create an effective institution through a continuous cycle of planning, research, implementation and evaluation. 9. Facilities a. Actively participate in facilities planning and development to address the staff, security and parking needs for educational programs and services. 10. Fiscal Resources a.
