Jenkins, Chief FROM: James Shea, Senior Project Manager /RA/ SUBJECT: SUMMARY OF THE SEPTEMBER 10, 2015, PUBLIC MEETING WITH DOMINION VIRGINIA POWER TO DISCUSS NORTH ANNA COMBINED LICENSE APPLICATION COLA TOPICS On September 10, 2015, a Category 1 public meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Staff and Dominion Virginia Power (Dominion) regarding the North Anna Unit 3 Combined Operating License Application (COLA) submitted on December 18, The topics for discussion during this meeting included the Dominion seismic closure plan (SCP) (ML14297A199), clarification discussions on NRC Staff general questions and other general administrative issues related to the ongoing safety review of the North Anna 3 application. The meeting commenced at 8:30 a.m. with NRC Staff opening remarks, an introduction of attendees, and an announcement of meeting logistics. The NRC Staff had prepared a topic action table that stemmed from the April 15 th, public meeting (Enclosure 2) that includes clarification issues the NRC Staff is using to facilitate the review of open items. Dominion provided its feedback on the update of action table items in a prepared presentation (Enclosure 3) along with expected deliverables in accordance with the Dominion SCP for continued NRC staff review. Following the technical and clarification discussions, members of the public were queried for related comments or questions. There was a comment but no questions.
