The vicinity and accessibility of these cities are significant factors that should influence your decision in choosing a place for investment. National routes No. 5 and No. 12 run through Leszno; express way S-5 is under construction. Another asset of the investment sites in Leszno is their location in the town: in the suburbs but close to housing estates and other businesses. New investments are located in the the I.D.E.A. Investment Zone. It covers an area of 158 hectares comprising local enterprises as well as companies with foreign capital. 27 hectares are still available for new investment. The zone is conveniently located with easy access; the plots can be subdivided to meet your size and locality requirements. I.D.E.A. sites are suitable for production as well as services buildings. When, in 2012, the town authorities started their preparations to build the infrastructure in the I.D.E.A. Investment Zone, we decided to purchase land in this attractive place. The procedures to acquire land from the town as well as the investment process were smooth and quick. In the beginning of 2011 we bought a plot, in May we completed the design and chose the contractor, in September we started the development and in August 2012 we moved in to our new premises. Establishing our business in the Zone has proved to be the best solution. The property is easily accessible and has all the necessary utilities including fiber-optic cable.

Child - ren are taught how to be independent and challenged from the earliest age: sports and bilingual classes, international projects contribute to widening horizons and stimulating initiative. On a secondary school level, students can choose among comprehensive, technical and vocational schools. Some classes are sponsored by Leszno companies fostering professional training for their individual needs. Higher education institutions attract young people from the whole region constituting a large group of potential employees for Leszno companies. Thanks to the pioneering curriculum of dual studies offered by Jan Amos Komeński State School of Higher Vocational Education, employers have access to well-qualified personnel equipped with practical knowledge. Dual studies are offered by the electrotechnics faculty with electrical mechatronics and electroenergetic specialisms. The 2.5 year curriculum allows students to implement their theoretical knowledge whilst working in a local company. There are plans to implement this type of edu cation in other faculties. Everyone can fulfil their passions and dreams. And, most mportantly in Leszno it is easier to find time to enjoy them. Leszno is a town of passionate people and ambitious dreamers. The courageous can fulfil their dreams of flying at the airfield at the Central Gliding School, which is the biggest grass airfield in Europe. The less courageous can watch gliders, paragliders, sports aircrafts and hot air balloons during numerous sports and recreational events. Leszno is proud of its world class speedway. The Alfred Smoczyk stadium is a venue for speedway events that attract several thousand spectators. The town has hosted several Team Speedway Championship Finals as well as Grand Prix speedway tournaments.

There are also clubs for senior citizens, numerous non-governmental organisations and special interest groups. Leszno residents work hard but they also want to have fun and relax; Leszno lets them to do both. A high standard of living and high level of happiness have been confirmed by Leszno ranking first in the life satisfaction list compiled by Polityka magazine on the basis of the Better Life Index OECD, November 2014.
