5 PRINCIPALS RUSSELL T. GIVENS PRESIDENT Russ has designed over 5,000 structures since being a founder of R.E. Wall and Associates, Inc. and has extensive experience in Medical Facilities, Office Buildings, Industrial Plants, Data Centers, Central Plants, Co-Generation and Solar Facilities. On behalf of the National Aeronautics & Space Administration, the Houston Spacecraft Center and the Army Missile Center and Naval Weapons Laboratory, he has conducted research and published nine articles on original plasma research. Russ holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management and a Minor in Physics from California State University at Long Beach. He has taught numerous courses in extension education at the University of California Irvine and has been an instructor for the A.I.A. Associates Architects for state license exams in Los Angeles, California. Russ was an Illuminating Engineering Society of North America technical delegate to the People s Republic of China, conducting lectures and workshops throughout China. He was an I.E.S.N.A. technical delegate to Russia and participated in cross-cultural technical exchanges in Moscow and St. Petersburg. He is also a former member of the Illuminating Engineering Society Handbook Committee. FORREST D. PETERSEN, P.E. VICE PRESIDENT Forrest is a Professional Engineer, licensed in California, Arizona and Nevada. He began his career with R.E. Wall & Associates, in 1987 as a CAD Operator while studying Mechanical Engineering at California State University Fullerton and obtained his professional electrical engineering license in He has extensive experience in high tech and OSHPD level projects as well as design build projects including serving as the Electrical Engineer of Record for major California Hospital reconstruction projects for the County of Los Angeles and private hospital clients throughout California. He has a strong record with building and commissioning these complicated projects while supporting an active hospital environment. He has performed many peer reviews and onsite operational vulnerability analyses and disaster preparedness reviews for existing international critical data facilities for clients whose operations depend on continuous, uninterrupted electrical service. Forrest is responsible for all project engineering supervision and coordination. He is directly involved in all phases of design, construction documents, specifications and construction administration. He has extensive experience with LEED certification requirements for all types of projects, is a member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) and National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). In his free time, Forrest serves as a Scoutmaster in the Saddleback District, Orange County Council for the Boy Scouts of America and still finds time to pursue his passion for long distance, offshore sailboat racing. Forrest has served as a bowman and navigator on two TransPacific Yacht Races, a Newport to Bermuda Race and countless other regattas.
