WHO WE ARE Our creative team includes designers, videographers, producers, illustrators, facilitators and project managers who bring a wealth of experience delivering creative projects across corporate, government and not-for-profit sectors. We ve worked all over the world, from Kenya to France and England to Costa Rica. We are a diverse, driven and passionate group with a common goal - using creativity for positive change. 4 CREATIVE CONSULTANCY Creative consultancy sounds vague, but in reality it is the process of engaging your customers, stakeholders and public to generate creative content for your campaigns and collateral. Who better to collaboratively design your message than the people you are trying to reach? CASE STUDY MY LIFE IS DIFFERENT NOW Queensland Rail approached us to address a serious problem. Young people were being injured or killed when illegally crossing the rail tracks. We were engaged to develop a campaign that spoke directly to the target audience. We could have simply designed some concepts based on our own research and hoped we were on the mark. Instead, we engaged a team of young people to research their peers motivations, behaviours and ideas regarding the issue. We also trained our project crew in graphic design, photography and peer research. The final campaign came directly from the young people it was aimed at and was so effective it was rolled out across every rail station and carriage in QLD.

5 ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHICS Most people spend over 50% of their conscious hours in a workspace, the majority of these spaces are devoid of inspiration & colour. We offer custom designed environmental graphics solutions for office interiors and exteriors, using a variety of mediums, to create environments that inspire, engage and reflect the aspirations of organisations and the people that work in them. CASE STUDY PERFORMANCE STRATEGIES Performance Strategies is one of Australia s most sought-after leadership development and employee engagement companies with an enviable track record for building individual and organisational capability and performance. Human Creative was engaged to create graphics throughout the entrance and client meeting room at the Performance Strategies office in the Brisbane CBD. Our solution was to reflect the company s processes, provoke thought and liven up a previously dull and poorly lit space with vibrant graphics and relevant key messages. The wall was first sanded, plastered and painted, vinyl graphics were then applied.

6 WORKSHOPS & TRAINING We are great believers in capacity building. Our expert team of facilitators delivers training across a range of creative mediums so you can produce your own content for social media and the web. We also offer a range of workshops aimed at developing the artistic skills of young people. CASE STUDY WINDSOR HISTORICAL SOCIETY As part of a process to grow membership and digitise their collection, Human Creative delivered a digital story workshop series with the members of the Windsor Historical Society. Using the skills gained, members produced a range of digital stories highlighting the rich history of the region. These stories, available via an interactive, online map have grown audiences and engagement with the Windsor Historical Society.

7 OUR GREATEST ASSETS We re an eclectic bunch, but we all share something in common - a passion for applying and sharing our creativity to make a real and positive difference in the world. We work in multi-disciplinary teams to ensure each program and project involves the appropriate expertise and experience. ANDREW CREATIVE DIRECTOR Andrew has developed, managed and delivered creative projects for a wide range of clients for over 10 years. He is driven by a passion for innovation and enterprise and loves working as part of a team to see ideas become reality. Andrew says yes to video, sound, bushwalking, family, synthesizers, travel, gardening, food and video games. JAMES GENERAL MANAGER James is an experienced manager with over 18 years in business and retail banking and a wealth of experience in not for profit management. He is passionate about working in a role where he can make a positive difference to society, and in an organisation with a Social Enterprise Business Model. DAN DESIGNER & VIDEOGRAPHER Dan brings 10 years of design experience to the team with a skill set encompassing print, web and motion graphics for video. Dan has provided multimedia design solutions for a range of clients from large corporations and State Government to small business and arts organisations. EVAN DESIGNER & FACILITATOR Evan brings over 11 years experience in the creative industries to the team. He has a particular interest in user-centric website design, illustration and environmental graphics. He loves engaging the public to bring about positive change and being involved in every stage of projects from concept through to completion. PAULINE PROJECT MANAGER Pauline is a creative with a business edge who brings to Human diverse experience and skills in project management, strategy, creative problem solving, facilitation, and communications. She is a big believer in marrying creativity and strategy to achieve economic success and positive change. ANGUS VIDEOGRAPHER & FACILITATOR Angus has been working in the design and community arts industry for over 5 years and brings a range of skills and experience to the Human Creative team. Angus skill set includes videography, video editing, motion graphics, 2D and 3D animation, illustration and creative arts workshop facilitation. MEL FINANCE ADMINISTRATION Mel is with us part-time as she slowly chips away at her double degree of BA Communications/Arts (International Relations) at the University of Queensland. She has been with Human for about 2 years taking care of the administrative needs of the organisation and assisting with financial tasks. GERRY YOUNG PRODUCER Gerry contributes a social work perspective and digital media skills to Human Creative s growing multi-disciplinary team. He possesses over six years of experience in child protection and youth advocacy and has travelled internationally as a motivational speaker encouraging young people to pursue their dreams.

HUMAN VENTURES Our parent organisation Human Ventures is a creative and cultural social enterprise focused on nurturing the development of marginalised individuals and communities. We achieve outcomes through capacity building, intensive workshops, and creating employment opportunities. Our award winning programs address disadvantage while building confidence, hope and resilience. We also offer mentoring to individuals and organisations. Our core programs include Creative Tracks and the Shockwave Program. CREATIVE TRACKS The Creative Tracks program works within the communities of Cherbourg, Woorabinda, Logan and Hope Vale to develop skills in dance, singing, music, video production and leadership. The program builds stronger communities, develops young people s confidence and provides career pathways. SHOCKWAVE PROGRAM The Shockwave program, based in Central West QLD aims to develop young people s skills in the creative industries, enterprise development and event production, opening up career pathways and connecting communities within the region. The program culminates each year with the Shockwave Festival in Blackall
