Rule The purpose of these rules and regulations is to promulgate standards and guidelines concerning: 1. Standards for drug and alcohol testing, laboratory certification, suspension and revocation of certification; 2. Body specimens that are appropriate for drug and alcohol testing; 3. Retention and storage procedures to ensure reliable results on confirmation tests and retests; 4. Initial drug and alcohol tests and confirmation tests; and 5.
