My family means the world to me, and I couldn t be more thankful for having them. I m also a TED lover, and when I m out of inspiration, seeing one of those videos gives me lucidity. 3 Dear member, If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough. Trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life was never an issue for me. I always knew I wanted to be part of the business sector, by exploring the world and knowing as many cultures and places as I could. So, I was sure that after graduating from school, I had to study something that brought together business and the chance to travel abroad: International Business. Being remembered as a recognized contributor to international trade and internationalization processes for Colombia is one of my biggest dreams. To show the world the quality of our products, the wealth of our story, the magic in our lands. Its pure magic realism. Having the responsibility to lead a local committee could give me the chance to contribute to the development of Bucaramanga by showing it how youth people is taking care of social, cultural and economic issues and taking actions about it. Running for Local Committee President in Bucaramanga represents the opportunity to shape member s ideas in order to evolve bottom up culture, in order to make a local committee dream come true. Having the honor of leading youth people could give me the chance to be an inspiration source, a guide and a pusher. Not only to develop myself in professional and personal aspects, but also, to develop and give my all to the crazy and brave ones that believe in a world in peace. 4 In my opinion, an LCP is a person who shows passion for his/her purpose, practice his/her values consistently and lead with both heart and mind. Setting significant long term relations and having the discipline to achieve goals are considered the basis to improve his/her Local Committee reality. More than a motivator, an LCP is inspiration for the people he/she works with and for and guidance to connect AIESEC purpose with the membership. An LCP understands that the secret of his/her effectiveness remains in understanding his/her team to draw on their strengths. The role of an LCP must contemplate authenticity and passion as the pillars of his/her daily actions and it must be understood as the head of Change Management. The role of an LCP consists in: Supporting his/her EB and members: Tracking them searching their well-being are most of the important tasks of an LCP because they are in charge of the biggest work force in the local committee. Being part of the National Assembly: and participating proactively in the decision making of it. Making AIESEC relevant in the city: In charge of showing the real impact of AIESEC in the city through Public Relations and building strategic alliances that can give the local committee a strong brand positioning. An LCP in AIESEC in Bucaramanga is someone that must be focused in certain processes in order to achieve a maturity and harmony status reaching balance.

6 Outgoing Global Community Development Program offers youth people the opportunity to have a bridge between their dreams and them. But, how an intense experience of impacting a community by developing a project can change your life? Easy. Offering you the opportunity to be open-minded, to have a deeper cultural sense, and to challenge yourself in order to get out of your comfort zone. Why? Bucaramanga has a huge academic market and big opportunities to ally with academic institutes. Also, OGCDP can provide financial resources in order to do bigger investments in membership and operations. Leopard culture should be impregnated in the whole membership, in order to define productivity concept applying the Golden Circle theory and maximizing our talent development. Productivity must be one of the main focuses in AIESEC in Bucaramanga, if we really want to be massive. Remembering and emphasizing the reason of our actions can show us the passionate way to do things. We can do good things being alone, but we can do even greater things working together. That s why team work is a huge pillar for the achievement of higher results. Brainstorming and cocreation spaces allows membership to create, discuss and build the future of the local committee
7 STAKEHOLDERS RELATIONS INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION CULTURE
8 THE WAY WE DO IT: We are achieving our GIP goals but not the GCDP ones. Also, we re not really encouraging people to apply for TLP experiences and there s no motivation for members to apply. About Integrated Experiences, our percentage of TMP s and TLP s taking an exchange is really low. CUSTOMERS: We don t manage CRM tools that can allow us to have customer loyalty. INTERNAL PROCESSES: Taking advantage of our market is not one of our strengths since the number of experiences we are delivering does not match with our possibilities. SUSTAINABILITY: ICX is not being sustainable because of lack of fundraising processes. This area is being financially supported by the OGX incomes, which makes us reduce the investment funds in operations. LEARNING & CAPACITY: SDP and LED processes are not being delivered in effective ways for the membership. There s no educational cycle for the local committee and there are no clear standards for the recruitment processes. Productivity is one of the main bottlenecks in our local committee THE WAY DO IT: - Educational cycles for GCDP programs - Encourage membership in order to apply for more challenging leadership experiences by showing them the importance of having a work force in charge - Career plan CUSTOMERS: - CRM culture implementation - CEM implementation INTERNAL PROCESSES: - Previous market studies - Effectiveness tools implementation (MKT) SUSTAINABILITY: - Fundraising strategies LEARNING & CAPACITY: - TM synergy & support - Educational cycle creation (LC & areas) -
