2 24/7/365 Home & Road Assistance is a FREE benefit on your PPS Short-Term Insurance policy. Home Assistance Cover is limited to 1 hour labour and call-out fee up. The combined maximum benefit shall not exceed R325. Plumbing Failures* The following plumbing type failure incidents will be managed: Burst geysers Burst water pipes and connections Faulty taps, mixer units and toilet cisterns Opening of drains Valves, elements, thermostats and vacuum breakers Electrical Failure* The following electrical type failure incidents will be managed: Faulty distribution boards Circuits Plug points Switches Earth leakage relays Plate Glass breakage* The following incidents will be managed: Incidents of breakage to existing fixed glass

3 Locksmith Requirements* The following incidents will be managed: Opening of door locks where the keys are locked inside the house Replacing of door locks where keys are lost or stolen Referrals The call centre will assist the client in locating a insurance approved service provider in a specific area for the following: Building renovations or repairs Carpets Carpentry Gate motors Pool motors Garage door motors Borehole motors Thatch specialists Electrical enhancements and compliance certificates Plumbing enhancements Pool services Specific exclusions: * Not reporting the incident to call centre first ** Motor vehicle glass

4 Roadside Assistance The features of the 24 hour emergency roadside assistance programme, applicable to the stranded client within the borders of RSA, are specified below: Flat Tyre Assistance If the vehicle s spare tyre is inflated and serviceable, it will be installed to replace a flat tyre. When a serviceable spare tyre is not available, towing will be provided under the towing benefit. A maximum of R500 will apply. Battery Jump-Start A dead vehicle battery will be jump-started by the service provider. A maximum of R350 will apply. Towing Service If the vehicle breaks down and requires towing or roadside assistance, we will help. An appointed towing operator will tow the vehicle to the nearest RMI approved repair facility. A maximum of R500 will apply. In the event of tow taking place after hours, the vehicle will be stored in safe storage free of charge for the evening. A maximum of R750 will apply. Car Lockout Service In the event of keys been locked in the vehicle a locksmith will be appointed to unlock the vehicle. A maximum of R will apply. Note that this service excludes faulty immobilisers. Emergency Fuel Delivery If the vehicle runs out of fuel, a limited supply will be delivered, to enable you to reach the nearest service station. The cost(s) of the fuel will be for your account.

5 Message Relay Service We will relay a message to a family member, friend or colleague in the RSA in the event of a breakdown or accident. Vehicle Repatriation Where the problem has occurred outside a radius of 100 km from your normal place of residence, requiring that you leave your vehicle for repair, we will arrange for the collection of the vehicle and return it to your normal place of residence or destination after the repair has been effective, Vehicle repatriation cover is limited to R750. Trip Interruption Benefit In the event of a breakdown occurring more than 100 km from home and results in a repair facility keeping a vehicle overnight, we will arrange and pay for accommodation up to a maximum of R500. Car Hire In the event of a breakdown, covered by this contract, we will arrange and pay for up to 24 hours to get you to your destination or place or residence, should you not wish to spend the night while vehicle is being repaired. A maximum of R700 will apply. Drunken Driver Assistance The service allows you to have access to this service at a discounted rate as and when necessary. The cost of the service will be for the policy holders account.
