4 RACETRACK TO STREET Enkei has been an official supplier of the McLaren racing team since Enkei wheels helped McLaren win the Formula One championship in 1996 and Enkei also supplied wheels to WRC rally cars that require the ultimate in wheel strength. Race teams for JGTC, Super Taikyu, Formula Drift, and D1 Drift are among others who choose Enkei. Enkei engineers utilize racetrack experience and feedback from champion drivers to build next generation racing wheels. We apply the same cutting-edge technology and styling to our street wheels. 5 ENKEI WE CARE Each Enkei production facility has a banner on the factory floor that says Handle Wheels Like Babies. All Enkei wheels are given full attention from designing to manufacturing to testing to make sure they become 360 Perfect. We do this because we care about people who choose Enkei wheels. Each Enkei factory grows many trees and flowers on the factory site and strives to save energy and reduce CO because we care about our environment and communities. Enkei actively recycles materials, including old Enkei wheels, because we care about future generations and the conservation of natural resources. Enkei cares about product quality, safety, people, and the world around us. Enkei is not just a brand; Enkei is a way of life. All Enkei wheels are engineered to pass rigorous testing. In fact, Enkei established its own test standard called Spec-E, which is tougher than JWL requirements. Enkei s Spec-E test setting requires a higher drop point in the impact test and 20% more cycles for the rotary bending fatigue and dynamic radial fatigue tests than JWL standards. The Spec-E represents Enkei s confidence in the technology and quality of Enkei wheels. ENKEI TECHNOLOGY Research and development, along with production, continue to demand the highest level of quality possible. Enkei s major product, the aluminum wheel, possesses a very simple structure. However, within this simple circular wheel lie unlimited possibilities. With incremental changes in areas such as material quality improvement, form research, design refinement and manufacturing methods, the capabilities of the aluminum wheel will be stretched even further. New products born from such technical improvements continuously advance with each year.
