1 Hal Chrisman: Principal AeroStrategy Hal Chrisman joined AeroStrategy as a Principal in April Mr. Chrisman brings to clients 25 years of aviation and aerospace industry experience split evenly between consulting and executive-level industry positions. Mr. Chrisman leads AeroStrategy s Defense Industry practice, but has expertise in both commercial and military aerospace OEM and MRO sectors. His functional focus has been strategic planning, process improvement, industrial marketing and due diligence. Mr. Chrisman's experience includes managing jet engine design and development programs at Williams International, working with Aviation and Aerospace customers as a Senior Director in Oracle s A&D Solution Center, and running business development for ecommerce startup AeroSpan. Alan K. Baker: Airlift Business Development Boeing Alan K. Baker is an Airlift Business Development Representative for Boeing s C-17 Program in Long Beach, California. In that capacity, he is responsible for marketing and sales for the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft, and the strategy that develops new mobility products to meet customer needs and ensure long-term airlift growth for the company. Mr. Baker joined the company in July Before coming to Boeing, he completed a highly successful career in the United States Air Force, where he held key jobs at the squadron, wing, major command and joint command levels. He was the Director of Staff at Headquarters Air Mobility Command and commanded the 634th Air Mobility Support Squadron at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Mr. Baker was a command pilot with over 3,500 flying hours in the C-5 and C-130 aircraft. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Tyler Evans: Director-F35/F135 Programs & Customer Support Pratt & Whitney Tyler Evans is the program director for the F135 engine program. He has responsibility for the entire F135 product portfolio, including development, production and fleet sustainment. The F135 is the only production engine for all variants of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) aircraft. Mr. Evans has more than 18 years of successful leadership experience at Pratt & Whitney. Previously, he led the F119 engine program for the F-22 Raptor as program director. He also led the F100-PW-229 Integrated Program Management Team as program manager with more than 1,000 engines flying in F-15 and F-16 weapon systems around the world. He supported Pratt & Whitney s largest customer on site at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as general manager for Dayton Operations. Mr. Evans has also held leadership positions as deputy director of Engineering for the Combustor, Augmentor and Nozzle Module Center; CIPT manager of the GP7000 compression system for the A380 aircraft; and deputy CIPT manager of the PW6000 combustion and exhaust systems for the A318 aircraft. Mr. Evans has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech. and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University. In addition, he received dual Executive MBA degrees from Purdue University s Krannert School of Business and ESCP-EAP European School of Management in Paris, France.
2 Robert Garrison: Sr. PLM Applications Engineer Idex Solutions Robert Garrison is a Senior Applications Engineer at Idex Solutions with over 30 years of experience in industries as diverse as shipbuilding and aerospace. He is equally at home with implementing and tailoring off-the-shelf systems for mechanical design as he is in developing custom Knowledge-Based Engineering and Automation applications. Mr. Garrison is recognized by his industry peers as being adept at producing elegant solutions for complex technical problems and has held senior technical positions with end-user companies, software development houses and Dassault Systèmes business partner organizations. Mr. Garrison started his career in the 1970s specializing in propulsion and power generation systems with the U.S. Navy. Upon completion of service, he went on to manage mechanical design operations in engineering departments at Long Beach Naval Shipyard and Lockheed Shipbuilding in Seattle, where he implemented the first use of CAD for the design of the LSD-41 class of ships. Many of the designers he trained went on to careers with Boeing Military Airplane Company. Specializing in PLM applications from Dassault Systems, Mr. Garrison has spent the past decade focusing on the aerospace sector. Mr. Fannin has more than 20 years of Aerospace and Rotorcraft experience in business, commercial and defense market segments. Gary Beyer: VP Defense-Space & Energy CDG, A Boeing Company Gary R. Beyer is VP Defense, Space & Energy for CDG, a Boeing Company. CDG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Boeing Commercial Airplane with more than a thousand employees, specializing in engineering, maintenance and sustainability solutions. CDG is sole source for all technical parts data and maintains the 14 terabyte IPC parts master for all flying commercial Boeing aircraft worldwide. The company also provides a variety of interactive software solutions for parts configuration management, wiring troubleshooting, interactive technical manuals and elearning to Boeing and other commercial companies. Thomas Anthony: Director-Aviation & Security Programs USC Thomas Anthony is Director of the USC Aviation Safety and Security Program since January He's an instructor in Aviation Safety Management Systems, Aircraft Accident Investigations, SMS for Managers, and Aviation Security courses. Mr. Anthony is an aviation consultant to DMJM H&N, AECOM Technology Corporation. He also serves as a consultant for the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Aviation Security. He has conducted training in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Auckland, New Zealand, for ICAO. Prior to appointment as Director, he served as a staff instructor for the USC Safety and Security Program. Mr. Anthony was the Federal Security Director of the Palm Springs International, Yuma International, and Imperial County airports before retiring from Federal Service in He served as the FAA Regional Division Manager for Civil Aviation Security in the Western Pacific Region. Mr. Anthony directed emergency security response to 9/11 attacks and provided investigative efforts of aviation activities of the hijackers. As FAA Division Manager for Civil Aviation Security, Mr. Anthony managed and directed assessments and inspections of U.S. registered aircraft operators, foreign registered aircraft operators, and international airports throughout the Pacific and Asia areas. From 1980 through 1987 Mr. Anthony served in management, supervisory, and journeyman positions in the Air Traffic Division of the FAA. He graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Speed has spent almost 60 years in the aviation industry, beginning as a student apprentice in 1952 at The Bristol Aeroplane Company, now part of BAE Systems. In 1957 he moved to the U.S. and began as a Development Engineer on new aircraft for Eastern Airlines in New York, working on the DC-8 and Lockheed Electra. In 1959, he joined Pan Am as a Structures Engineer, and later as an Aeronautical Engineer. At Pan Am, he worked on the specifications for the 727, 707 Freighter, Concorde, and Dassault Fanjet Falcon. In 1965, Mr. Speed became VP Marketing for Tridair Industries in California. In 1968, he founded Transequip, now part of Telair International, which manufactured composite panels, cargo and baggage containers and cargo systems. He sold his interests in He founded SpeedNews in 1979, and in 1991, launched SpeedNews Defense Biweekly. In 1987, he started the first SpeedNews Aviation Industry Suppliers Conference. SpeedNews was purchased by Prism Business Media in September 2006, which also acquired Penton in February Prism Business Media is now known as Penton Media. Mr. Speed is currently on the Board of Directors of KAPCO and LeFiell Manufacturing and on the Advisory Boards of M.C. Gill Corporation, Janes Capital Partners and Perfect Point EDM.
