LIBRARY VISIT: REPORT AND SEMINAR CODE MLIS 105 Objective: The objective of the course is to give exposure to the student on the library management practices followed in the libraries. Library Visit: Report Format- Every student shall prepare a project report based on the format mentioned below. I. Introduction: covering the historical background of the library. II. Organization and management III. Different types of collections IV. No. of sections and type of services offered V. Technical processing VI. Automation technologies used by the library VII. Rules and regulations of the library VIII. Summary and suggestions
