Scope 1 emissions from blasting (ANFO and emulsion) were recalculated for all years using the carbon content of the material instead of an emission factor data has been recalculated using current emissions factors to provide comparability with 2013 data. 9 Scope 3 emissions were recalculated for all years using activity data from air transport of employees to sites. Previous years had attempted to calculate emissions from the manufacture of cyanide and lime, two of our major input materials, however, the emissions factors are thought to be unreliable and Scope 3 emissions are to be focused on other items such as employee transport, etc. Los Filos did not track activity data for these emissions in 2014 and are therefore excluded but will be included beginning in Future refinement of scope 3 emissions will continue.
