2 Pastor Eric & Mrs. Bloneva Jones Welcome to Koinonia Worship Center, the fellowship where God is sovereign. The fellowship where talents and gifts are shared with those seeking to grow closer to God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are here for the expressed purpose of strengthening the ties that binds the church, the home and the community. Our prayer is that your visit here today will be one that will meet your level of expectancy. As believers, we are part of one another, not by choice but by design. Therefore, we cannot truly serve God if we fail to serve you and each other. We extend our sincere appreciation for your presence with us today. If you are not a believer, we thank God for giving us the opportunity to shower you with the love that God has given us and pray that you will be convinced to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today.

3 The Vision Rev. Eric H. Jones Jr. Visionary/Founder/Teacher "God's purpose for Koinonia Worship Center was revealed to me in December of "A Light will shine from Carver Ranches, Florida, a controversial light, a persecuted light, but a light that will make a difference." This full service worship center is to be in operation twenty- four hours a day. The construction of the center is to be on not less than ten acres of land. It is to be administered and staffed by Christian ministers and Christian counselors. The center would initially spring from un-churched men and women who had a working knowledge of God's desire to meet the spiritual, physical, social and mental needs of mankind. Statement Of Faith Koinonia Worship Center is a nondenominational body of believers in God. We are to glorify God through His son Jesus Christ, to create an atmosphere of praise, prayer and worship based on the Word of God, to evangelize the lost, to equip the members for ministry and edification through discipleship and nurture; leading them into full participation in the life of the Body of the Church and community; and to support domestic and world missions with prayer and other means of communication.

4 What We Believe "WE BELIEVE that the Holy Bible, the Word of God was written by men divinely inspired by God and is the record of God's revelation of Himself to man. It is the true center of Christian union and the supreme standard by which human conduct, creeds and opinions shall be tried." "WE BELIEVE that the Godhead exists eternally in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and that these three are one God, forming the Holy Trinity." "WE BELIEVE that the church is the Body of Christ, a local congregation of baptized believers, who are associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the Gospel and seek to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth." "WE BELIEVE that all spiritual gifts, rights, and privileges are given to the body of Christ for the perfecting of the Saints and the building up of the Body of Christ." "WE BELIEVE that civil government is of divine appointment by God for the interest and order of human society; and that magistrates are to be obeyed, except in things opposed to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the only Lord of the conscience and the Prince of the Kings of the earth." "WE BELIEVE that the end of this world is approaching and that in the last days, Christ will descend from heaven, and raise the dead from the grave to final retribution; that a solemn separation will then take place; that the wicked will be sent to endless punishment and the righteous to endless joy; and that this judgment will fix forever the final state of men in heaven or hell, on principles of righteousness."

5 Our Ministries Ministry is the reality of kingdom service. It is the proactive stage of the "Vision." Ministry demonstrates the essence of Jesus' word in us aiding the poor, the destitute, the homeless, the captives, visiting the sick and all others who find themselves lost, whether by wrong choices and/ or other circumstances. Ministry is a command of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The ministries presented and described herein reflect our statement of faith and vision which is "a light that shines from Carver Ranches; a controversial light, a persecuted light, but a light that will make a difference."

6 Ministries of Discipleship Black Christian Men of Destiny The Black Christian Men of Destiny's five phase ministry was established so that men are given the opportunity to achieve social and economic liberation, individual, family and community revitalization, spiritual salvation and enlightenment. The five operational components; economic, social, health, education and spirituality are designed to address the psycho-social spiritual conditions of the African- American community utilizing corrective technique models. Distinguished Gentlemen United with the Christian Men of Destiny is "Distinguished Gentlemen" ministry. The Rites of Passage training prepares and develops our boys for responsible manhood and fatherhood. Leadership Class Members with the desire to lead are encouraged to enroll in special training classes to provide opportunities for them to grow and discover their spiritual gift for training and service for leadership in ministry. New Member Orientation Orientation classes are designed for new and rededicated believers to acquaint themselves with the meaning, the nature, the goals, the philosophy, the vision, and the accountability of church membership. All new members must complete this orientation before engaging in leadership and service.

7 Ministries of Discipleship Senior Pearls United with Women of Vision is the Senior Pearls ministry. The Senior Pearls meet their special needs for fellowship and friendship every Tuesday morning. They serve in a vital role of mentoring and counseling to the church body. Sunday School Biblical literacy is a necessity for our Spiritual Growth and Development. Classes are provided for all ages, along with specialized groups. Each member is automatically enrolled and is urged to attend. Women with Vision (WWV) The main focus of this ministry is to reach both Christian and non-christian women from all walks of life, to spark the desire to know and cultivate a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Young Ladies (KYLM) United with Women with Vision is Koinonia's Young Ladies Ministry. It is designed to work with young ladies within the church and surrounding communities and challenge them to gain knowledge, grace and character. Guidance and instruction is offered through a Rites of Passage Program.

8 Church Beautification Cleanliness represents Godliness. This ministry has a passion for keeping and making sure the Church and its surroundings are as clean and refreshing as the Word of God. Hospitality The Hospitality Ministry is responsible for recognizing and extending spiritual greetings of compassion, warmth, concern and inspiration to our guests as well as our membership. We strive to bring the very heart of Jesus to everyone we greet within and outside the community of God. Love Loaf Love Loaf Ministry prepares food for church ministry events. These events may include the annual church picnic, conferences or any fellowship that requires meals or refreshments. Specialized Ministries Christians United Together In Love (C.U.T.I.L.S) It is our belief that a Christian marriage is one of the cornerstones of the body of Christ. Therefore, the focus of this ministry is to strengthen the marriage covenant as God designed it to be. To this end, marital counseling, marriage retreats, and other special events are available to enrich and keep marriages strong, healthy and pure. Life Changing Singles Ministry This ministry provides support for men and women who have never been married, divorced, separated, or those individuals whom are widows and widowers. Men and women who are facing day to day trials and tribulations, who want to choose a better way of life. Health, economics, social and spiritual guidance are provided for those who want to become that whole, unique and complete person that GOD would have them to be.

9 Music JESUS IS THE SONG IN THE HEART OF THE MUSIC MINISTRY. This ministry provides a powerful and spiritual atmosphere that prepares the heart to hear and receive the word of God. It brings praise, honor and glory to God through music. Noon Day Prayer Prayer is the key in all that we do. The call is upon the Body of Christ to come together to call upon the name of the Lord, for He has promised to show us great and mighty things (Jer. 33:3). This ministry comes together to intercede on behalf of the church body and the community at large. P.S.A.L.M.S. Praising, Singing, Acting, Liturgical, Ministering Saints use their gifts of creativity to reach the lost and minister to the Body of Christ. Ushers The Usher's Ministry serves in concert with the Hospitality and the Security ministries to make sure the worship services maintain a safe, orderly and secure atmosphere for worship and fellowship. Kingdom Building Youth Ministry This ministry provides a comprehensive program of worship services, Bible study discipleship training, social and recreational activities. Ultimately, the youth will be spiritually trained, mentored and equipped to serve on the front line of the Kingdom of God. Outlet Ministry Specialized Ministries The Young Adult Ministry provides a comprehensive spiritual program for those years old. The 10 targeted areas the young adults participate in, prepares them to effectively minister for Christ.

10 Evangelism Jesus commands us to "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." Evangelism is not an option. For us, it is a mandate! Through this ministry, we touch the lives of the lost, the un-churched and those who are hurting. More Than Conquerors Romans 8:37 says that "we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." The goal of this ministry is to provide an atmosphere of Christian dialogue and support for anyone who is experiencing life hindering issues and is willing to seek biblical solutions. It provides weekly Church and off site Bible Study, Spiritual Counseling and group therapy to those who are struggling with situations such as drug and alcohol abuse. Mass Media This ministry provides audio cassettes, videos, radio broadcasts, the newsletter and an updated web site of the services and other activities of the church. The ultimate goal of this ministry is to reach the body of Christ as well as the unsaved throughout the world by way of a multiplicity of communicative resources. Prison Outreach Ministries In obedience to the Word of God (Matt. 25:34-40), we must not abandon those who are in jail and prison. The Prison Ministry reaches out through worship, prayer, and encouragement to men, women, boys and girls who are incarcerated. Many have accepted Christ as a result of this ministry. Nursing Home This ministry allows us to reach out to those who are ill, aged or have any other disability that prevents them from coming to the church to hear the Word of God and accept Jesus as Savior. Special care is given along with songs of praise, cassette tapes, fruit baskets. The spiritual benefits of enlightenment, enjoyment, encouragement and interactions are most contagious.

11 Reaching Hands The Reaching Hands Ministry provides spiritual and physical nourishment to those brothers and sisters in need. Currently, 130 hot meals are delivered every Saturday to the elderly, disabled and the economically deprived. Weekly meals are also offered to approximately 70 people who are homeless; and monthly supplies of groceries are given to needy families. Bread is provided seven days a week and holiday food baskets are provided as well. Transportation Through this ministry, transportation is provided to Sunday School, worship and special services. Outreach Ministries

12 Social Service Ministries Caring Hearts The Caring Hearts Ministry is a branch of the Women's Ministry. It gives support to widows, those hurting from family deaths or any other challenging or extenuating circumstances. Topical Studies Topical Studies provides biblical studies on specific topics that affect women. It encourages women to live Holy in whatever state they find themselves in single, married or widowed. S.H.E.E.R. Stopping HIV through Education, Embracing, and Responsibility is the main focus of this ministry. A support group offers spiritual and healthy solutions to both infected and affected individuals.

13 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Romans 10:9, 10 I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me - that Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, as the Scriptures said. 1 Corinthians 15:3,4 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. 1 John 1:9 New Believer s Bible
