1 Retreat Ministry Hospitality Team Application The mission of GENEVA Camp & Retreat Center is to create an environment where the presence of God is experienced, the love of Christ is demonstrated, and a Spirit-filled life is inspired. The Retreat Ministry Hospitality Team position is designed for college-age people. It seeks to provide experiences in Christian growth, hands-on camping ministry and personal development opportunities. The Hospitality Team will commit to the retreat ministry season which runs from late August through May. Late August will be a time for staff move in to housing, and participation in a group orientation. Hosting would officially begin right after the Labor Day holiday. The Team will be responsible for representing GENEVA in greeting guests and meeting needs of our retreat groups during weeknights and weekends on a rotating team schedule. On-site housing will be provided in exchange for this role. In addition, the Hospitality Team will be provided meals anytime we are serving retreat groups. Occasional part-time employment may be available in program, maintenance, housekeeping, or office support. Three positive references and a clear background check must be completed prior to employment.

2 GENEVA Camp & Retreat Center is a Christian organization serving area churches and community groups who utilize GENEVA s facilities for retreats. Our Retreat Ministry season runs from late August through May. We are in search of individuals to join our Hospitality Team who would be interested in serving alongside our staff in meeting the needs of our Retreat Ministry guests. Qualifications: Retreat Ministry Hospitality Team Member 1. Confidence in engaging with people of all ages 2. Strong communication skills 3. Willingness to serve others 4. Ability to work as a team 5. Ability to be prompt, attentive, and professional Job Description Requirements: 1. Be available to serve from late August through May 2. Have an appropriate level of availability for weeknight and weekend time commitments with a rotating team schedule. Responsibilities: 1. Serve on the Hospitality Team to greet guests and meet needs of groups while facilities are in use 2. Be in attendance when and where scheduled to work 3. Be readily available and responsive to groups when called upon 4. Work in cooperation with other GENEVA staff and departments while on and off duty Provisions: 1. Hospitality Team participation would be in exchange for housing (includes full kitchen & laundry) 2. Housing includes private and semi-private rooms including private bath 3. Meals available through our food service department any time GENEVA is hosting groups 4. Wireless Internet access in housing and other GENEVA facilities is available 5. When not on hosting duty, occasional part-time employment may be available in program, maintenance, housekeeping or office support.
