2 Bath College offers two Summer School courses About the Summer School You can attend classes for a minimum of 1 week up to the full 8 weeks. The minimum age is 16. Academic English General English In the classroom Bath College offers lively and interactive English language courses taught by highly qualified teachers in our accredited English Language School. Our Summer Schools offer a great opportunity to improve your English language skills while studying in the centre of the beautiful World Heritage City of Bath. You will take a placement test on the first day, and you will then be assigned to a multilingual class at your level. In your class you will improve your ability in the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, with special emphasis on communication. You will also develop your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. Outside the classroom We run an exciting programme of evening events that includes sports, social events, and cultural visits. We also offer full-day trips to places of interest such as London, Oxford, Windsor and Stonehenge. This gives you the opportunity to take a break from your course and enjoy our culture and history too. Tuition-only option If you do not need accommodation, you can pay a tuition-only fee. Activities and trips can be booked and paid for separately. (Prices are between depending on the activity.)
