WC: Monday 30th November 2015 What an exciting week it has been at school! The children have thoroughly enjoyed Science Week with lots of interesting and exciting science based activities running across the whole school. Making ice cream with dry ice, programming, engineering, enjoying chemical reactions and finding out about how our bodies work are just a few of the activities. We could not have done this without Miss Breakell, who has organised a very complicated week, or the support of so many parents. A HUGE thank you to Miss Breakell, Mr and Mrs Woolston, Mr Clarke, Mr Nicol, Mr Thomas and Mrs Barnes for giving up their time and making the week so memorable. Have a good weekend, Ms. Tew. LU Smart Trees 3/12 LU will be leaving Tibberton at 9am. Children need to wear warm outdoor clothes and wellies not school uniform. They should have a coat, scarf, hat, gloves and a packed lunch in a named disposable carrier bag. They should also bring a spare pair of socks, pants, clean shoes and trousers in a second named carrier bag to change into. MU Hartlebury Museum 2/12 MU will be leaving Tibberton at 9.15 am. Children will need a packed lunch, water bottle and a warm coat and will be required to dress up in Victorian Costume for the day. Pinafores and waistcoats will be sent home in advance. No spending money is required. Christmas Bazaar 3/12 3pm Cake Donations On the day we will have lots of fun and exciting stalls and games for children and adults alike. These include the Raffle, Tombola s, Toy Stall, Santa s Grotto, café and much more. Children are allowed in at 2.30pm and will need a bag and some money to spend prior to door opening to others at 3pm. Our cake stall is always very popular and we do ask for cake donations to be brought into school on Thursday morning. Thanks for your support. Christmas Play -10/ pm & 5.30pm Tickets for the Santa s Setbacks have come home in book bags this week. Each family has 2 tickets for each performance (siblings can sit on a adults knee). Please bring any unwanted tickets back to the school office where Mrs Adams is keeping a waiting list for those wanting extra tickets. Last year we managed to ensure everyone got the extra tickets they needed by recycling unwanted ones. Xmas Post Box The school Christmas Post Box will be available in school from Friday 11th December. Cards will be delivered by different classes on 14th/15th/16th and 17th December. Each family has received a list of school children in book bags this week. Please don t forget to put surnames on the envelopes. Many thanks.
