2 Entrepreneurship Deveopment INTRODUCTION The success of a start up or a new venture depends on the inherent viabiity of the project and the way the project is panned, impemented and managed. As far as the panning, impementation and management of a new venture is concerned, it is the entrepreneur who carries out most of the functions. The Entrepreneur acts as a driving force behind the performance of these tasks. In order to carry them out efficienty, the Entrepreneur needs to have certain knowedge, skis and an appropriate profie. So entrepreneurship is a combination of skis, attitude and knowedge, difficut to teach in conventiona institutiona framework-but possibe to deveop through educationa inputs. Case studies, simuations, roe-pays and games wi be utiized to enhance opportunities for earning. PROGRAM DIRECTOR Prof. (Dr.) Anita Tripathy La: Dr. La is a Professor at FORE Schoo of Management, New Dehi. Her expertise ies in the areas of Business Communication, Leadership & Entrepreneurship. She is a PhD from IIT Kanpur and has about 21 years of work experience in the areas of teaching, training and research. She aso has the experience of teaching for three years as visiting facuty at IIT Dehi and IIT Kanpur. She has been a part-time consutant for two years to NTPC's Word Bank funded projects on Environmenta Impact Assessment. In 2012, she has received certification on 'Mentor Deveopment Program for Entrepreneurs' jointy from London Business Schoo and Nationa Entrepreneurship Network. Being a certified mentor she has been successfuy mentoring entrepreneurs. Her passion though, remains Student Start-ups. She has been feicitated by TiE New Dehi for her contribution as a Mentor to the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE ). She is aso on the 'Mentoring Board' of IIT Kanpur Entrepreneurship Ce and in the Entrepreneurship Board at Amity University. She has aso conducted number of MDP's and workshops in the areas of entrepreneuria competencies, opportunity evauation and business mode & pan, interpersona reationship, communication & presentation skis, assertiveness, positive attitude and eadership. She has keen interest in personaity deveopment and research reated activities. She has nationa and internationa research papers in the areas of Business Communication and Entrepreneurship. At FORE, she aso Head the Centre for Entrepreneurship Deveopment. Dr. La is abe to create an idea bend of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Communication in her training programs, few of the most potentia skis critica to creating success stories for Organizations in today's uncertain times. 4 ABOUT THE INSTITUTE Foundation for Organizationa Research and Education, New Dehi was incorporated in 1981 as a non-profit institution 'to achieve and sustain Leadership in Management Education, Research, Consutancy and Deveopment'.
