Four generation mobile network has been more than two years of commercial experience in the word. Two standards of four generation networks: LTE FDD and TD-LTE, the former dominant in the market, but the TD-LTE network is only a small proportion. With China operators obtain TD-LTE licenses, China's huge potential market for TD-LTE will soon become a reality. Market process of TD-LTE will be more difficult for impact of LTE FDD, and concern balance role of policy and market. Market research and policy analysis of TD-LTE will continue to deepen, which will influence the development of TD-LTE industry chain. Therefore, it is very necessary to do more research and analysis on market and prospect of TD-LTE. Analysis domestic and international markets, combined understand LTE network architecture. 1.Introduction LTE(Long Term Evolution) is four generation mobile communication technology, which provide faster speeds and greater coverage. The new round of battle for telecom services broke out since TD-LTE license obtained by China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom in December 4,2013. Many equipment manufacturers focus on TD-LTE technology research in domestic market. LTE FDD technology hold large proportion in the international communication market. In addition, China Telecom and China Unicom will obtain LTE FDD license in future. Under dual drive by market and policy, the two kinds of four generation communication technology will develop with each other. Therefore, market structure and prospects of TD-LTE is very significance. 2.TD-LTE Network Architecture TD-LTE has been designed as a completely packet-oriented multiservice system. Without the reliance on circuit-switched connection-oriented protocols prevalent in its predecessors. TD-LTE provides different QoS service to meet variety of differentiated services. There are two elements in TD-LTE:EPC and E-UTRAN. UE is connect E-UTRAN directly. Figure 1 is network hierarchy architecture of TD-LTE. 2 Advanced Materials Research Vols EPC is responsible for the overall control of the UE and the establishment of the bearers. E-UTRAN is consists of a network of enodebs. The enodebs are normally inter-connected with each other by means of an interface known as X2. The E-UTRAN is responsible for all radio-related functions. 3.TD-LTE Market Research Two factors affect development of TD-LTE directly: technology innovation and market structure. 3.1Technology Force The development of mobile communication technology has experienced the three stages of 1G, 2G and 3G, from simply voice and texture service gradual evolution to multimedia services, especially for service with high bandwidth requirements, such as high definition,online streaming services and so on. Figure 2 show process of standardization schedule and comparison of transmission speed, which is driving force for mobile communication technology. 3.2Market Force Fig. 2 Process of standardization schedule and comparison of transmission speed The development trend of global market of mobile communication is still good since 21 century. The absolute incremental quantity of mobile subscriber is reduce, but Erlang have make great growth, and more and more services are emerge. Which will replace fixed communication services in future. Growth of mobile communication mainly from high traffic users Therefore, require a higher bandwidth services bear on 3G network, while voice and text services bear on 2G network. With the development of service types, more and more services require high bandwidth, especially for HD, realtime services. Which spawned the development of 4G networks, Formed 4G chain. Many communication network equipment providers, terminal vendors, and content providers made leaps and bounds. 3.3TD-LTE Global Market Research So far, mobile communications technology received development, subscribers number saturation. Operators receive more income by explosive growth of subscriber number is end. But should

And FDD terminal styles are very rich. TDD mode terminal manufactures are also increased. In accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Industry, China Mobile TD-LTE only achieved a license, while China Telecom and China Unicom, the future will hold two licenses: TD-LTE and FDD-LTE. Since the Chinese mobile market share and influence national policy, TD-LTE technology will achieve rapid development in the country, mainly in the following areas: (1)Although the loss of a large number of users in TD-SCDMA network, especially high-end users, China Mobile's market share is still more than the sum of China Telecom and China Unicom, which will provide TD-LTE market cradle; (2)TD-LTE industry chain terminal manufacturers continue to expand. In order to get China Mobile 4G market, several major domestic and international terminal equipment manufacturers have invested into the development of TD-LTE terminals; (3)Although China Telecom and China Unicom will focus tends to put FDD-LTE network development, in order to support national policies and market demand, but also must spend a certain amount of input into the development of TD-LTE; (4)China Telecom and China Unicom, the future will maintain two 4G networks, will inevitably lead to maintenance distracted, thus affecting network quality and customer experience.; (5)TD-LTE standard frequencies used their own advantage; (6)5G technology will be to form a standard in 2020, but business will take some time. 3.4Competition With LTE FDD In 4G technology, LTE FDD technology is widely used, its market has an absolute advantage. Europe, South Korea and Japan mainly in LTE FDD technology -based. TD-LTE support mainly from China, the future of China Mobile's TD-LTE network will occupy an important seat. LTE FDD and TD-LTE future market competition focused on the following two aspects:
4 Advanced Materials Research Vols (1) TD-LTE network focused on domestic and foreign markets still dominated LTE FDD network. (2)hybrid network to become the future trend. In overseas markets, the operator's market share will remain stable, because the FDD-LTE is basically upgraded from WCDMA. However, the future demand will surge in the flow of information limited FDD-LTE spectrum generated challenges, TD-LTE spectrum advantage for operators is still attractive. 4.TD-LTE Forecast As a branch of TD-LTE 4G standard, there are many technical advantages. TD-LTE technology market development will receive its own influence, while communications policy and resource situation will also affect the development prospects of TD-LTE market. 4.1TD-LTE Technology Advantages TD-LTE has the following advantages. (1)the increasing demand for bandwidth and spectrum availability in the increasingly tense situation in the more efficient use of spectrum TDD mode; (2)can be easily implemented using the channel symmetry smart antennas, MIMO and other new technologies to improve system performance; (3)to support asymmetric services flexibly, better adapted to the needs of mobile Internet; (4)has its own characteristics and the physical layer measurement detector, etc.; (5)the multi-cell synchronization mechanism to coordinate resources and interference with its own advantages[2]. 4.2TD-LTE Market Prospect TD-LTE development prospects of the market mainly depends on its technological superiority and communications policy. While 4G LTE FDD technology is currently the mainstream technology, especially in the international market share accounted obvious advantages, but TD-LTE market is also an essential part. If the way they operate well, TD-LTE market potential is huge. The domestic market: the domestic consistent support TD-LTE technology standards and industry development, support for self-development rights, the future will depend on a large platform to promote China Mobile's TD-LTE technology, which will greatly stimulate the TD-LTE terminal, chip and network equipment market development. 5.Summary As an important branch of TD-LTE 4G technology, with its own technology, especially in terms of spectrum use obvious advantages. Technical advantages will affect the market development of TD-LTE, while national policy is also an important factor affecting market development, especially in the domestic industrial policy to support the TD.
