LOUIS SCHEDULE OF CLASSES SPRING SEMESTER, 2015 PRE-REGISTRATION INFORMATION November 3, 2014 November 17, 2014 Begins pre-registration by appointment for all eligible currently enrolled UM-St. Louis students, undergraduate and graduate, for SPRING SEMESTER, Currently enrolled students will be sent their pre-registration appointment time via their University Account. Begins registration for all students newly admitted or readmitted. Students new to campus for SPRING SEMESTER, 2015 must be advised prior to registering for classes. Registration information will be sent via the official University Account. Spring Semester begins with the first day of class. It is expected that you plan your schedule to attend the first class and all scheduled classes. CALENDAR: SPRING SEMESTER, 2015 JANUARY 05 Monday Winter Intersession classes begin Beginning the first day of the term there will be a $50.00 late registration fee assessed for students who have not previously registered for the SP2015 term. 05 Monday Last day to add a WI course. 07 Wednesday Last day to drop a WI course without receiving a grade Last day to place a WI course on Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis. 14 Wednesday Last day to drop a WI course with a grade of EX or F. 17 Saturday Winter Intersession classes end 20 Tuesday: Classes begin 8:00 a.m. 26 Monday: Last day any student may enroll (enter a course for credit). Last day Registrar s Office will automatically move students from the wait list to open sections. FEBRUARY 16 Monday: Last day to drop a course or withdraw from school without receiving a grade. Last day any student may place a course on Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis. MARCH 14 Saturday: Mid Semester. 21 Saturday Spring recess begins 5:00 p.m. 30 Monday Classes resume at 8:00 a.m. APRIL 20 Monday Last day a student may drop a course. Instructor s approval is required. A grade of EX or F will be assigned. Last day a student may withdraw from school. Instructors and Dean s approvals are required. Grades of EX or F will be assigned for each course. MAY 09 Saturday: Classes end at 5 p.m. 11 Monday: Final examinations begin 16 Saturday: Spring Semester closes, end of day. 16/17 Saturday/Sunday: Commencement weekend.. Students are urged to enroll upon admission, do not wait... Students entering courses after the first day of classes are responsible for ALL assigned course work. Please note: Classes may have progressed to the point where completing all assigned work may be difficult. Students may wish to contact the instructor prior to enrolling... Undergraduate students may not enroll for more than eighteen (18) credit hours without dean s approval... Graduate students may not enroll for more than thirteen (13) credit hours without approval by the Graduate School.
