2 Page 2 The Montessori School of Northampton For over 38 years, MSN has offered exciting and engaging programs for children in the tradition of Italian educator Maria Montessori. The school is located in a peaceful residential area convenient to downtown Northampton, Route 9 and I-91. Families often commute and carpool from surrounding towns such as Hatfield, Amherst, Williamsburg, Easthampton, Hadley, and the Hilltowns. We welcome children between 2.9 and 12 years of age to our summer programs, and we are dedicated to the service of all children. We encourage families of different races, creeds, cultural heritage, political beliefs, marital status, sexual preferences, national/ethnic origins and abilities/ disabilities to join us. Many Montessori students attend, but Montessori experience is not required for the summer sessions. Once you see what we have to offer, you may want to look at our school year programs for the future. To learn more about school year programs, contact us at For Summer Program, please call MSN Summer Program 2015 Summer Program Admissions Registrations are processed on a first come, first served basis. Once a program is full, we will automatically place additional applicants on a waiting list in the order in which they are received. In this case, parents will be notified in writing, and deposit checks will be returned. Families on the waiting list will be notified as soon as an opening occurs and tuition for the program will be due at that time. Summer Program Refund Policy Page 15 A 75 percent refund will be given to those withdrawing prior to June 1, A 50 percent refund will be given to those withdrawing after June 1, 2015 and before summer program begins on June 22, No refunds will be given after summer program begins on June 22, All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Summer Program Office by the dates listed on the refund policy. Children s House (Pre-K or Kindergarten) parents: If your child is new to our programs, you are welcome to come and visit with your child on the Thursday or Friday before the beginning of their session. Please contact the Summer Program Director if you are interested in arranging such a visit.
