Dress is casual. 10:00am to 1:00pm Foothills Jeep Tour (capacity 30) Explore the foothills above Colorado Springs by jeep! A cowboy driver will meet you at the hotel in an open-sided 4-wheel drive jeep. Within minutes, you will be on a winding mountain road that will take them through spectacular overlooks of Colorado Springs, Cheyenne Canyon, Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods. Site seeing in a jeep is a phenomenal way to see the extraordinary beauty of Colorado. The jeeps will board at The Broadmoor at 9:45am and will depart at 10:00am. Incredible photo opportunities abound as guests explore the stunning rock formations and lush foliage. You will feel as if you are truly at one with nature. The minibus will board The Broadmoor at 9:45am and will depart at 10:00am; transport time is 15 minutes. Lunch will be provided at The Broadmoor after the tour. Tour guides, water bottles and snacks will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes geared for outdoor adventures, sunscreen is recommended. Dress is casual. You will be back at the resort by 12:30pm. 10:30am to 2:00pm Olympic Training Center Tour (capacity 20) Get a taste of the behind-the-scenes training of the athletes residing at the Olympic Training Center. Take an exclusive guided tour with an athlete in training and dine in the private cafeteria where athletes count every calorie and carb. Spend time with the athletes and learn about their Olympic goals and dreams. You will begin the trip with a short hike to the belay site, where you will be instructed on the art of rappelling. A thrilling experience awaits as you descend at a controlled speed to the bottom of the canyon. Rappelling is exciting and fun for everyone, from novice to expert! 10:00am; transport time is 15 minutes. Lunch will be provided at The Broadmoor upon return. Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended. Dress is casual. You will be back at the resort by 12:30pm 10:00am to 1:30pm Horseback Riding (capacity 25) This mountain horseback ride offers a beautiful trek through the scenic Pike National Forest. Knowledgeable guides will escort you along beautiful trails that cross old mining claims, and provide a variety of mountain views from deep forest to panoramic vistas overlooking the Front Range. Elk, buffalo, and other andigenous animals are often seen along the way.
