7 Institutional funding for German universities Mobility measures to promote international research cooperation RISE Research Internships in Science and Engineering Internships for undergraduates (USA & CDN, GB) to work with research groups at German Universities. Interns are matched with PhD students whom they assist and who serve as their mentors (8-12 weeks in summer) Project-based Exchange Programme (PPP) Initial funding for staff mobility to intensify cooperation between international and German research groups (co-funded with foreign partner institutions) DAAD-funding up to 15,000 over two years Staff mobility (short and long term visiting professors) - 1 to 6 months ("Kurzzeitdozentur"), co-financed by host university - 1 to 5 years ("Langzeitdozentur"), position at host university - DAAD covers travel costs and provides daily/monthly allowances Thank you for your attention.
