For about 3 days: Exploration Phase - Petroleum system, Geological Chance of Success, Recoverable reserves, Deciding of wildcat well location, NPV Appraisal Phase - Result of Wildcat(Logging/Core analysis well correlation, PVT analysis test analysis) - Building the Geological model and reservoir simulation model with Case study of oil and gas field, Assessing uncertainty of reserves, Deciding of appraisal well location, Working out of development plan For about 2 days: Development/Production Phase - Updating the Geological model and reservoir simulation model based on production result, Optimizing of development plan or working out of additional development plan (Form: lecture, demonstration) (4) Discipline : Geology Subject : Carbonate Reservoirs Basic Intermediate Geologists, geophysicists, drilling engineers, reservoir engineers with 2-5 years experience. This course is designed for individuals in sedimentary geology and petroleum geology who are currently involved in development or exploration of carbonate reservoirs. The course takes a detailed look at carbonate rocks and the sediments that make up these rocks, and examines concepts and models of diagenetic changes in carbonates

Learn the sand control technique, covering the theoretical interpretation of sand production based on rock mechanics, the prediction model, various types of screens and the procedure of operations. This course includes a lecture on the fundamental of corrosion mechanism, characteristics of various corrosion including sweet (CO2) and sour (H2S) corrosion, corrosion in oil and gas industry, material selection, corrosion inhibitor, cathodic protection and the state-of-art anti corrosion technologies. You will enhance your knowledge on corrosion for development and operation activities. To provide the skills of increasing the proven reserves, discovering by-passed pay, reducing development time and costs, improving production rates, and rejuvenating old fields through a multi-disciplinary team approach. A practical course to understand the oil & gas field development from exploration, to production and to final abandonment using the actual field data
9 1. Submission method Please make 2 individual courses; (1) 5-day Exploration course, (2) 5-day Production course, so that the delegates can entry either or both. Please submit an estimate as a total fee of Exploration course and Production course. 2. Contents This course should be a practical course using the actual field data.
