5 learning outcomes & module outlines LEARnInG OUTCOMES STAGE 1: REfLECTIVE MAnAGERS (September-October) Reflect on your personal experience; to make sense of the global business environment and develop a strategic perspective. Modules studied will include: Global Economic Environment Corporate Strategy STAGE 2: AnALYTICAL MAnAGERS (October-December) Develop analytical skills and learn cutting edge management theories to understand the importance, integration and interaction of business functions. Fostering Innovation and Entrepreneurship Modules studied will include: Managing People and Organisations Managing Information Operations Management Strategic Marketing Accounting and Finance STAGE 3: PRACTICInG MAnAGERS (January-March) Understand the key strategic challenges and contemporary issues facing global leaders through business practice. Modules studied will include: Leading Strategic Change Project Management and Decision Making Management Consultancy STAGE 4: MBA PATHWAY OPTIOnS (April June) In addition to in-depth understanding on the most important subjects related to business management with a global perspective, you will also be able to choose to specialise in the following areas by studying 3 more specialised electives. *Students who do not wish to specialise in any area and rather choose three electives from the above may discuss with the MBA Programme Director about their choices. InTERnATIOnAL field TRIP A one week international field trip may be organised for those who wish to enhance their international experiences by learning from a different culture. Students may work with MBA students from our overseas partner institutions and meet with CEOs of multi-national firms. Dates for the international study trip may vary each year depending on student interest. Please note students are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs. STAGE 5: BUSInESS PROJECT (July-August) Integrate theories you have learned from the MBA Programme and apply them through a business project. The Business Project will also include a 10-credit Research Methods Module, which will be delivered during term 1. We also offer limited summer business placements, subject to academic progress and interviews.

Or demonstrate high levels of achievement and exceptional career progression in a managerial position or demonstrate an excellent track record as a successful entrepreneur Applicants who do not have English as a first language are required to achieve an overall IELTS score of 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in reading, writing, speaking and listening) Applicants may be invited for interview via telephone, skype or face-to-face INTERVIEW The purpose of the interview is to help us understand your career goals as well as your professional background. It will also help us to know more about your present work commitments, learning goals and how you would like to balance your academic life with work. The interview will also be an opportunity for us to clarify your queries about the programme objectives, outcomes and learning strategy.
