5 Optimum Performance from Rough Machining of Heavy Workpieces up to Fine Finishing High speed & high accuracy machining setting screen This function enables effective use of HPCC and AI Nano contour control function, and it is attached to the function mentioned above. It is necessary to control of the acceleration and deceleration rates as the load on the table varies in order to maintain a high level of accuracy. This function provides real-time feedback to insure that any error between the commanded position and the actual machine position is minimized. The function allows for the selection of the values for rough machining, finish machining, and table load. Every 90 index is automatically executed by a locate pin, thus maintaining highly accurate and stable indexing for a long period of time. A new mechanism of double pinion gear drive provides high speed and high accuracy indexing. Slideways are clamped by a four (4) T-bolt clamping system. 7 Measuring & Compensation System Measuring & Compensation System Centering system simple type (Type H) The work coordinate system offset can be set easily by moving the centering bar or tool to the measuring point manually, then pressing the MEASURE key. Centering system touch type (Type J) The work coordinate system offset or tool offset can be set automatically by bringing the touch sensor manually in contact with the workpiece. It measures the coordinates of reference hole center or reference face and corrects automatically the work coordinate system to eliminate any set up error. Various dimensions such as bore diameter, step difference and center distance can be measured before, during and after machining. The use of the print out function and printer can print out the measured result. (sub option) Based on the measured result, the offset amount of end milling or milling can be changed automatically for remachining. Programming Assistance Standard:Program support functions Z, W axis auto coordinate system setting and tool length compensating function (G143) When the tool length is compensated, the Z-axis automatically calculates the W-axis quill feed-out amount and sets the coordinate system. Therefore, the tool length offset can be applied in the same feeling as the machining centers, thus enabling the Z-axis machining or W-axis machining. Workpiece reference point auto calculating function by B-axis rotation (G111) The workpiece coordinate system shifted by the table rotation is automatically calculated, and new workpiece coordinate system is set. Therefore, the measurement of workpiece reference point, which is usually required every table rotation, can be eliminated. 8 Technology that enables high accuracy machine processing Spindle thermal distortion compensating system (option) Oil cooler with the communication function Thermal distortion compensating system by temperature sensor Accuracy within 0.02mm ( ") For this purpose, the factory temperature must be controlled. The oil cooler with NC communication function controls precisely the refrigerant temperature under CNC control. The temperature sensor monitors the conditions and compensates the spindle speed, even if variable, by considering the historical data, as well as compensation of spindle contraction due to a centrifugal force generated during high speed rotation. If the spindle heats excessively, it stops automatically.
