OVERALL PROGRAM LEARNING OBJECTIVES After attending each session participants should be able to: Develop an algorithm for diagnosis, progression, and treatment of glaucoma based upon OCT findings. Recognize indications of trabeculectomy vs tube surgery. Discuss strategies to avoid and manage complications in non-filtering glaucoma surgery. Describe innovative concepts in pathogenesis of glaucoma. Identify appropriate utilization of advanced technology lens implants. Describe the different types of presbyopic correcting IOLs. Identify techniques to better handle difficulties encountered in cataract surgery. Implement improved outcomes for patients with underlying conditions which can affect surgical approach. Explain how anti-vegf therapy works. Integrate the advantages and avoid potential pitfalls of treatment in daily practice. Recognize the limitations of clinical studies in diabetes & AMD. ACCREDITATION The is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
