7 ACTIVATION WITHIN LOCAL COMMUNITIES Recreational hockey is largely played within schools and clubs in a league or competition format. It is very inclusive sport being dual gender and played by all ages. England Hockey has developed a series of products to target different customer groups to help grow the sport. Quicksticks introductory version for Primary Schools In2Hockey transitional game to adult hockey Rush Hockey 5-a-side of hockey for the casual participant Back to Hockey - reintroduction to hockey for men and women (30-55 years old) Masters Hockey - played locally and internationally by men and women in age bands from over 35s to over 75s We are also developing a variant of the game for people with disabilities. 60,000 coaches, umpires and volunteers support and deliver this participation activity Those new to the sport can find playing and watching opportunities at
