6 It doesn t matter which way you chose you always have to get to the Main Railway station ( Hlavní nádraží ) where you take a train to České Budějovice. The Prague Main Railway Station The Prague Main railway station is under reconstruction at the moment, nevertheless all trains leave according to the time table. At the Railway station, you get to the ticket office, where you buy a single ticket to České Budějovice (cost: cca. 220,-CZK). Train to České Budějovice usually leaves 14 minutes past every hour. The journey should not take longer than 2,45 hours.
