4 MAIN STREET PROMENADE PHASE II AND PHASE III EXPANSION Downtown Naperville offers big city shopping in a small town atmosphere. The town has grown from a settlement of 180 residents in 1831 to141,853 residents in Throughout this growth, Naperville has retained its quality of life. The residential & business communities are proud of their heritage and work together to foster a healthy economy. One outstanding feature of the downtown region is the beautiful Naperville Riverwalk, Paddleboat Quarry, and Centennial Beach and Park. The Riverwalk is a draw for tourists and locals alike, generating foot traffic throughout the many streets of the shopping district. Downtown Naperville is a shopping and restaurant destination that appeals to shoppers, business people and diners of all ages. With a merchant mix of national favorites and local trend-setters, the region has something for everyone as it pulls customers from over 150 zip codes in the many surrounding communities. There are over 90 traditional retailers, over 42 restaurants, 19 specialty food emporiums and 26 beauty and fitness boutiques in the immediate downtown. In addition, the daytime population is fed by over 125 service businesses, including attorneys, dentists, medical, financial and other office uses, which ensure a steady flow of employees and visitors who shop the stores and dine at the restaurants while in downtown Naperville. Main Street Promenade opened in 2003 and enjoys tremendous success. AFTER 8 SUCCESSFUL YEARS, MAIN STREET PROMENADE IS EMBARKING ON AN EXCITING EXPANSION ADDING APPROXIMATELY 50,000 SF OF RETAIL SPACE TO THE EXISTING 40,000 SF. Once complete, Main Street Promenade will feature over 90,000 SF of specialty retail and restaurant tenants, surrounded by over 1,200 car free public parking. Also, over 60,000 SF of additional office space is planned above the new stores, for a total of approximately 140,000 SF of office area, further enhancing the daytime population to shop at Main Street Promenade. Space will be delivered for Phase II in June Phase III is projected to open in The expanded retail line-up will further enhance the success of Main Street Promenade and its tenants.
