Conductor: Cable Conductors are normally Solid (Single Wire) or Stranded (No. of wires stranded). Conductor materials such as Annealed Bare Cooper, Tin plated copper, Silver plated copper, Nickel plated copper. For Thermocouple Extension & Compensating Cable, special alloys are used. Insulation: Conductors are insulated with PVC / PTFE (TEFLON) / FEP / ETFE / PE / FG / ASBESTOS / SILICONE / NEOPRE RUBBER or any other dielectric material as per customers specification. Individual Shielding (Screening): Two / Three / Four cores are uniformly twisted together to form a pair / triad / quad. The Cable may have no. of pairs / triads / quads as required. Each pair / triad / quad can be shielded individually with Aluminum Mylar and drain wire can also be provided. Overall Shielding: After individual shielding of single pair / triad / quad with Aluminum Mylar, an overall shield on total no. of pairs / triads / quads of Aluminum Mylar or Annealed Tinned Copper Braid or both can be done as per requirements. This provides effective shielding where cross talk & noise can be at minimum. For Multi Core cables, no. of cores are twisted together and then shielded with Aluminum Mylar or Annealed Tinned Copper Braid or both. Inner Sheath: After Shielding, Inner Sheath of PVC / PTFE or any other material is provided. Armoring: It is applied over Inner Sheath and it consist either of galvanized round wire of galvanized flat strip. The main function of armoring is mechanical protection of the cable. Outer Sheath: After Armoring, an Outer Sheath of PVC / FRLS PVC / LD / HD / PP / HOFR jacketing or any other material as required is provided. In case of unarmored cable, Inner Sheath & Outer Sheath is the same.

They are heat resistant and have its application for temperature range from -65 C to 260 C. In most adverse industrial conditions, where chemical fumes & other liquids make all other types of cables are vulnerable, PTFE polymer which is a known by TEFLON, a DUPONT Regd. Trademark becomes an excellent solution as it is chemically inert to most of industrial chemicals. Its outstanding di electric properties even at high elevated temperatures make it suitable for harsh industrial applications. The PTFE equipment wire are as per US Military MIL W 16878D and Indian defense specifications JSS As per these standards, PTFE wires are classified in three main working voltage grades. 3 PTFE INSULATED HOOK UP WIRE: ELTEC PTFE Insulated hook- up wires are used extensively for both electrical and electronic equipments. 4 FIBER GLASS CABLES: Copper / Tinned Copper / Copper with SS / Nickel Plated Copper conductor is covered with Fiber Glass Yarn & varnished. They can be recommended for continues use at 130 C to 180 C. They are available in different sizes from 0.5 sq. mm to 300 sq. mm. They can be SINGLE or MULTI CORE with SS BRAIDING / ASBESTOS / CERAMIC YARN Braiding and in different colors.
