This could cause the SRS (air bag) to be deployed. BUZZERS, RELAYS & TIMERS Component ABS Combination Relay Component Location Above ABS control module, near brake master cylinder. A/C Relay Behind glove compartment. Anti-Theft Alarm Module Relay On central electric unit, position No. 14.

2 Blower Fan Relay (High Speed) Behind glove compartment. Central Locking & Delayed Inside Lighting Relay On central electric unit, position No. 11.

3 Deadlock Setting Relay On central electric unit, position No. 8.

4 Engine Cooling Fan Relay On top right of radiator shroud.

5 Fog Lamp Relay On central electric unit, position No 7.

6 Fuel Pump Relay On central electric unit, position No 2.

7 Heated Rear Seat Relay On central electric unit, position No. 17.

8 Heated Rear Window & Door Mirrors Relay On central electric unit, position No. 13.

9 Intermittent Wiper Relay (Front) On central electric unit, position No. 9.

10 Intermittent Wiper Relay (Rear) On central electric unit, position No. 10.

11 Main Headlamp Relay With Bulb Malfunction Indicator On central electric unit, position No. 3.

12 Main Relay On top left of radiator shroud.

13 Overload Relays (3) On central electric unit, positions No. 4, 5 & 6.

14 Seat Belt Reminder/Key Warning Relay On central electric unit, position No. 15.

15 Secondary Air Pump Relay Front left side of engine compartment.

20 Ignition Discharge Module/Ignition Coil Seat Control Modules SRS Sensor Unit Sunroof Control Module Left side of engine compartment. Under driver s & passenger s seat. Under floor console behind shift lever. Behind interior roof lamp assembly. Transmission Control Module On right front inner fender panel, in control module box.

On center of firewall. A/C High Pressure Sensor (Pressostat) A/T Fluid Temperature Sensor Bulb Failure Warning Sensor On A/C line, on right side of firewall. On left side of transaxle. On left side of luggage compartment.

22 Camshaft Position Sensor Duct Temperature Sensor (ECC) EGR Temperature Sensor On right rear of engine. In driver s or passenger s side ventilation duct. On base of EGR valve, on left rear of engine.

23 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Heated Oxygen Sensor (Front) Heated Oxygen Sensor (Rear) In-Car Temperature Sensor Intake Air Temperature Sensor Intake Manifold Pressure Sensor On left front of engine. In front of catalytic converter. Behind catalytic converter. Behind driver s or passenger s grab handle. In air intake hose, near air cleaner. On left side of engine, on intake manifold.

24 Knock Sensors (2) On lower front of engine. Mass Air Flow Sensor On air cleaner housing.

25 Oil Pressure Sensor Outside Temperature Sensor (ECC) Lower left side of engine. On right side of firewall, near A/C air intake. Pulse (Engine Speed) Sensor Solar Sensor (ECC) On rear of engine, above bellhousing. On top right of dash.

26 Throttle Position Sensor Transmission Range Sensor On throttle body assembly. On left side of transaxle. SOLENOIDS & SOLENOID VALVES Component A/C Switch Solenoid Component Location On A/C compressor. A/T Shift Solenoids Auxiliary Air Intake Solenoid EVAP Valve On transaxle valve body. Front center of engine compartment, next to radiator. On top left of radiator shroud.

27 Idle Air Control Valve P-Shift Lock Solenoid (A/T) Turbo Control Valve Variable Intake Manifold Solenoid On left rear engine. Under shifter console, forward of shift lever. Between turbo & left rear of engine. On left side of engine compartment, between air cleaner & engine. SWITCHES Component A/C High Pressure Switch Component Location On A/C line, near receiver-drier. Brake Switch On bracket, above brake pedal.

28 Back-Up Lamp Switch Clutch Switch Handbrake Switch Seat Belt Reminder Switch On transaxle. On bracket, above clutch pedal. At base of handbrake. On driver-side seat belt buckle. MISCELLANEOUS Component ABS Hydraulic Unit Component Location On left rear of engine compartment, near brake master cylinder. Alarm Horn Blower Motor Resistor Rear center of engine compartment. Mounted on blower fan housing. Data Link Connector On center console, forward of shift lever & near ECM.

29 Diagnostic Connector EGR Converter On center console, forward of shift lever & near ECM. On top center of radiator shroud.

30 Front Fog Lamp Bridge PTC-Resistor On central electrical unit. Mounted on fresh air intake hose, near air filter.
