3 Flexible aluminium body kit The new GETO Sider Alu aluminium curtainsider kit is an extension of the existing range of curtainsider kits which meets the technical demands of bodybuilders and vehicle owners alike. It is exceptionally flexible and is easy to install. The body kit comprises an aluminium front and aluminium rear frame, a GETO Versus roof system, rear portal frames, aluminium sliding pillars as well as other accessories for trucks and trailers. The design of every component is such that they can be ordered as a complete body kit or as individual parts. Lashing points approved to DIN EN are fitted into the front as standard. Bigger payloads possible The all-aluminium design of the GETO Sider Alu and the resulting reduction in vehicle net weight are particularly beneficial for the haulage industry, which has been looking for toll-free vehicles especially, and this also translates into significantly bigger payloads. With no protruding components to get in the way of the cargo, the vehicle s internal volume can be put to full use. GETO Sider Alu can also be fitted out with aluminium dropsides. 4 Bulkhead An aluminium bulkhead approved to DIN EN Code XL is available for the GETO Sider Alu. This front bulkhead is supplied without a lifting roof, but with hollow aluminium profilesections for panelling purposes. Two lashing points have been integrated into the bulkhead to ensure that the cargo control meets the requirements of DIN EN Sliding pillars The lightweight, ergonomic handle makes operating the aluminium sliding pillar easy. Can also be used on vehicles with no lifting roof as required. Optional extra: riveted batten pockets spaced 50 mm apart. Approved for payloads of up to 7 t. With GETO Sider steel pillars approved for payloads of up to 10 t. GETO Sider Frame Base frame GETO Sider Frame is available for vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of between 7.5 and 26 tonnes and a max. overall length of 7950 mm. 5 GETO Versus sliding roof GETO Versus sliding roofs stand out for their fast installation and ease of handling. Impact-absorbing folding panels ensure that the sliding roof can be opened and closed with ease. GETO Sider Alu is supplied as standard with the Kubus Light cantrail, but can also be fitted with Kubus or Quadro cantrails. Rear door frame The GETO Sider Alu rear frame is made of powder-primed aluminium and has an external width of 2,550 mm and a clear aperture width of 2,480 mm. Sliding-roof and fixedroof versions are available, each certified to DIN EN Code XL. Reinforcing brackets provide extra stability. 8 Sliding pillar systems Sliding pillar The GETO Sider sliding pillar system is used as the centre post for the vehicle body. Simple one-handed operation ensures fast access to the loading area. The system s locking mechanism provides a secure, flush join with the side rave. All individual components are compatible with the GETO Sider and GETO Sider Alu range. The standard version makes use of a 35 mm thick aluminium pillar, but the system can also be fitted with a steel sliding pillar from the GETO Sider range if heavier loads are being used.
